5 Loungewear Outfit Ideas

It’s been almost a month since I moved into my apartment to begin sophomore year! With all of my classes online I figured I’d kick start the school year with a handful of loungewear outfit ideas.

It’s certainly no secret that this year’s classroom situation will be looking a little different. And while I’m sure my bedroom walls don’t care what I look like, it’s important to me to continue getting dressed and ready each morning… even if it means changing out of pajamas and into sweats + slippers. Here are five online school-approved outfit ideas to rock this school year!

Matching Sweat Set

You can never go wrong with a matching sweat set! I’m a sucker for anything matchy-matchy so this Ugg set was right up my alley. These joggers have got a tapered fit that’s super flattering. A cozy zip up to go with is perfect! Keeping my feet nice and warm in my new Fluffita slides. These are perfect for wearing around the sorority house but they also have thick, durable soles so they can be worn outside too if need be.

Tank And Joggers

Are you taking hybrid classes? Perhaps you’ve been staring at your computer screen all day and suddenly it’s time for your four o’clock class. No need to change out of your sweats when you’re wearing a pair as funky as these! Zebra print is so trendy right now and makes such a statement. Pop on a solid black tank and chunky white sneakers; these will be perfect for your walks around campus. Gold hoops will give this look all the extra spice it needs!

Sweatshirt Dress

Sweatshirt dresses have been around for a while but they don’t seem to get the recognition they deserve. I mean come on; what’s better than an oversized hoodie + no pants? Nothing (if you as me!). Rather than wearing ruffled swing dresses to my in-person classes, I’ll be sporting cute hooded ones to my living room. And honestly, I’m quite okay with that. For shoes, I’m slipping into my Disco slides. These are so cozy and can be worn outside too!

Black On Black 

There’s no better way to make your loungewear look classy than by sporting black on black. This will give your outfit more of a polished feel! Slip into cute slides; these can be worn inside or outside and come in a variety of colors. For when it gets chilly, have a cute sherpa to throw over your outfit. The fuzzier the better!

Sweatshirt + Sweats

A classic crewneck will truly never go out of style. I prefer crewnecks to hoodies when laying down (lol) as I find they are a bit more comfortable. I’ll be sporting this one asap with my zebra joggers. There are truly endless ways to style these bottoms; make them streetwear or sleepwear, you choose! Wearing the Disco slides to finish off this look.
