Weekly Wrap Up #37 2020

It’s been a busy week here at school! Sorority recruitment is in full swing and later this afternoon we will virtually welcome home a new pledge class. Sadly, Bid Day has been canceled due to COVID but our chapter is doing it’s best to make the girls feel just as special. I’m so excited to meet new faces (even if it is virtually!) and start building more friendships here at school.

This has felt like both the longest and shortest week ever; I can’t believe it’s been a month since I moved in! Oh, how the time flies here. I wasn’t as active this week so I’ve got fewer workout looks for ya but lots of cute looks still! Temperatures have been bouncing back and forth between summer and fall so I’ve been taking advantage of the warm days and wearing the last of my cute summery items! THIS WEEK’S WEEK IN MY LIFE VLOG

I took a break from the Week In My Life vlog this week simply to switch things up. I uploaded a few different vlogs, including this one that just went up today. I’ve got to admit, I didn’t have the best week and not vlogging made it feel even more out of whack. Needless to say, I’m excited to get back to my usual this week!

WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK

9.6.20— It was a busy Sunday around here! I woke up bright and early to record an episode for the Girl On A Train podcast with one of my YouTube friends Laur. We had an hour-long talk about how I began my blogging/YouTube journey and how I managed to gain 25K+ subscribers in just 6 months. The episode went live Friday and can be listened wherever you stream your podcasts!

9.7.20— Today was Sisterhood round of sorority recruitment here at Kent State and we had an awesome day of meeting PNM’s over Zoom and talking about our chapter. Snapped some roomie photos inside, posted a huge brand deal with Ugg, and made some yummy shrimp pasta for dinner!

9.8.20— Up and at em early this morning with a walk around campus before getting ready for class. I had two classes today and spent the entirety of my afternoon working on some online work for my other classes, completing assignments, and editing videos. Talked with one of my best friends from home, Ethan, for a couple of hours tonight which was such an unexpected treat!

9.9.20— Another morning walk in a cute workout set! Today I got right to work on blog related things and spent the afternoon doing Astronomy homework-yuck. Liv and I headed downtown for dinner and enjoyed some yummy tacos from Barrio! They were delicious and it was so good getting to catch up with one another.

9.10.20— Another full day of classes. I am so grateful that my course load isn’t as project heavy as last semester. I’ve been reading a lot of chapters, listening to lectures, and then completing a weekly quiz for almost every class. It’s been very manageable so far which I am grateful for! Attempted taking blog photos this afternoon but the weather just wasn’t on the same page. Instead, Lauren and I popped some popcorn and spent the night chatting together.

9.11.20— Fridays are one of my biggest content creation days during the school year. Today I posted a blog post, uploaded a YouTube video, filmed two hauls, and took three posts worth of photos mirror style. It was a jam-packed day but it felt so good to get some work in. I made steak in the air fryer tonight for the first time and it was delicious.

9.12.20— Today was Preference round of sorority recruitment which meant everyone was all dolled up and wearing their white dresses! I can’t wait to meet our new members tomorrow. My roomies and I grabbed Chick-fil-a for dinner and made brownies together after. I feel like we’ve gotten so much closer this week which I couldn’t be more grateful for!
