4 Casual But Cute Outfits For Class

About a week ago I asked on my Instagram stories what outfits you need help putting together the most. The most popular answer was hands down, casual but cute outfits for class. I’ll admit, “casual” isn’t usually a word I gravitate towards when it comes to my outfit choices.

However, today I’m teaming up with Spanx to share four outfit ideas that are (hopefully) just what you’re looking for. With these combinations, you’ll look effortlessly trendy without being overdressed.

Play With Finishes 

I totally understand those days where you just want to be comfy and wear leggings. Swap out your plain jane leggings for a pair of Spanx faux leather leggings! I have a few different pairs from them and these new crocodile print ones are the cutest.

Their leather leggings are the highest quality and last for ages. If you’re looking for a good pair of everyday bottoms (rather than workout leggings) I highly recommend investing in a pair. These have a shiny finish that gives them an unexpected touch. I’m playing with texture and pairing these bottoms with a ribbed oversized tee.

This one is a super soft chenille material and I love the way the two fabrics play off of one another. To keep this look polished I slipped into a pair of neutral mules and added a few simple gold accessories. This outfit is super easy and yet it looks like you put tons of thought into your outfit!

Go For Slip-On Jeans 

I tried my first ever pair of jeans from Spanx and I have to say, I was very impressed. I typically wear a 00/0 in jeans and got an XS in these. They fit me like a glove and are so comfortable. Spanx denim is super soft with a jegging like fit. They have no buttons or zippers; you literally put them on as if they are a pair of leggings!

I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about them but with a cute buckle belt like the snakeskin one I have on, they look so good. I’m 5’2 and have on the regular length but cuffed them just for looks/to show off my favorite tan mules from Dingo. Petite and Long options are available.

On top, I threw on a tan button-front sweater. I have this one in a few different colors and it’s seriously one of my favorites. It’s the perfect amount of cropped and is so soft. It matches my shoes perfectly too which is a plus. Pair it with joggers and sneakers for a laid back feel.

This outfit isn’t anything fancy and yet with a little color coordination and a few accessories, you look put together in no time!

Sport The Basics 

I am a sucker for all things camo! These seamless leggings are a new favorite of mine. They run on the smaller side so I’d definitely recommend sizing up if you’re in between sizes. These bottoms are super high rise so I popped on a neutral, cropped sweatshirt.

This combo is so easy to throw on. Add a pair of chunky sneakers and you’re good to go. These ones give me just enough lift and add a little spunk to the outfit. Faux glasses would be adorable with this too if you’re running late!

Dress Up Joggers 

Boy, do I love a good pair of joggers. Typically I gravitate towards fleece-lined bottoms for more of a loungewear vibe but Spanx just released a leather pair so naturally, I had to get my hands on them. These are so fun—they are as comfortable as your typical joggers but the leather adds a unique touch.

I tucked a simple white long sleeve bodysuit into them. I love long sleeves as we move into the fall; they are the perfect transition for these temperatures. Of course, my white Ugg sneakers are a must! These are crazy comfortable and so supportive making them perfect for walking around campus.

A cute baguette bag for all the essentials and chunky gold hoops are the perfect finishing touches for this look. I love the edgy vibe this outfit gives off without being too extravagant!
