8 Trends To Follow This Fall 2020

Fall fashion is in full swing and I’ve been picking up so many cute pieces to sport this season. I shared a SheIn haul to YouTube a couple of weeks ago and today I’m styling some of my favorite items from it.

Structure + Camel Coats 

This fall all things 90s/2000s are making their comeback. Wearing corsets as tops was so popular back in the day and retailers like SheIn are using this inspo and putting their own spin on it. This black top is the result! There’s wiring along the cups giving it a super structured fit. The neckline is so fun and puts a unique twist on your typical black crop top. The silky material makes this top so easy to dress up.

I was getting “going out” vibes from this top so I paired it with a pair of cropped flare jeans. This is my absolute favorite pair right now—the ankle-length fit is so flattering and raw hems are super trendy right now.

I love pairing cropped jeans with sock booties. The pointed toe on these elongates the legs and really plays off of the pointed accents of the top. To finish off the outfit I threw on a camel coat. I have been on the hunt for a jacket this style for ages now and finally found the perfect one thanks to Fashion Nova.

A coat like this will instantly complete any outfit. It gives this look a polished feel; shed your layers once arriving at the bar! Pair it with a sweatsuit to dress it up or with all black for a statement.

Tie Side + Sock Booties

You can never go wrong with a little black dress and this one right here deserves all the love. I am a sucker for tie details (you know that by now) and this fall their back and better than ever. This dress is actually a midi-length but the ties along the side allow you to synch the dress up to mini-length too.

It’s incredibly versatile and so flattering, hugging your figure in all the right places. I am absolutely obsessed. I kept things rather simple with a pair of nude booties and my matching Lulus hat. A pair of boho earrings to match was just what the outfit needed.

This dress would look amazing with a trench coat layered over top or even with some faux fur as temperatures continue to drop. There’s so much you can do with this look; I highly recommend trying to recreate this one.

Wrap Front + Fedoras

Who doesn’t love a cute matching set?! I know this one isn’t necessarily going to keep you warm during the late fall weeks but it’s perfect for those in-between days we’re having right now where it’s brisk in the morning but still seventy mid-afternoon.

I imagine this outfit being worn to a winery or for a fun, fancier fall activity. These wrap crop tops are so big right now. They’re a bit confusing to figure out but once you tie them the right way, they look amazing on. Although this is technically a two-piece set, you could totally rock this top on its own with a pair of black jeans for a night out.

The bottoms are an ankle-length, elastic waist pair of pants. I threw on black heels to dress this look up a bit + to give me a little extra height. Of course, a black fedora was just what this outfit needed. You can never go wrong with adding a hat!

Zebra Print + Flares 

Zebra print is here to stay this season and I can’t say I’m mad about it. I mean come on, who doesn’t love a good blast from the past?! This crop top is so fun; this open back detail is so popular right now and makes for an unexpected silhouette.

To keep things funky and fresh I’m throwing on black flared jeans. I couldn’t love this Fashion Nova pair more; they fit me so well and elongate the legs big time. Of course, I added white booties to complete the outfit.

The key to making this outfit “work” is the accessories. I pulled my hair back into a low bun for a “chic” vibe and added thick gold hoops. A black crocodile print baguette bag fits all the essentials and gives this outfit the perfect edgy finish.
