Howdy, partners! It’s been a few months since I’ve shared some western-inspired looks here on the blog. I was on such a kick throughout the summer but lost touch of it once returning back to school. However, I got the itch to style cowgirl boots at the beginning of the month so naturally, I got back in my element for today’s post.
Today I’m teaming up with Dingo to share four new pairs of shoes from their new fall 2020 collection. I’ve been a Dingo fan for months now and talk about their shoes constantly across my platforms. If you’re looking for high quality, leather shoes that are comfortable and stylish, they are the brand for you! I’ve got a dozen pairs by now and love adding a western twist to my everyday outfits! I hope you love these looks.
Dingo was established in 1969 and is one of the first lifestyle boot brands, specifically designed for a socially aware, fashion-conscious generation. With vintage elements and a modern flair, every shoe in this Dingo collection is made to reflect the unique American spirit. With hundreds of different styles— they’ve got everything from classic cowgirl to trendy western.
If you know me you know how much I love old Taylor Swift. I hate just about every song she’s released since her OG Fearless album, but that first album…. man does it hit the spot every time. And when I’m driving down the backroads with my Romeo & Juliet blaring louder than it should be, this is the outfit I envision myself in every time.
I mean come on, if I had a country music album, these pictures would be spot on! I’ve had this dress sitting in my closet for months now and it finally got it’s time to shine. I knew the second I pulled it out of the packaging, that it would look awesome with a pair of boots and my trusty cowboy hat. This black felt one is from Justin’s Boots and it is the best!
I’ve been dying to get my hands on a pair of black cowgirl boots for months now and I finally did! The Maria boots are everything you could want in a shoe and more. These shoes are made of a luxurious Napalino leather. They’ve got a light western stitching, a smooth foot, and a two inch heel to give you just enough lift. These are leather lined too making them the best of the best. These are definitely an investment but they are so worth it; not to mention, these are the kind of boots you’ll have in your closet forever!

Who doesn’t love a little bit of animal print? Even on my western days I can’t stay away! Dingo just released the “Calico” leather booties and they are perfect. With a little bit of snakeskin mixed with top stitched details and a three inch heel these shoes scream spunky! They are so unique and yet the color palette is rather neutral so these still pair with tons of different outfits. I’m wearing the black but these also come in red and a light gray/nude combo.
There are so many different ways to style these shoes and yet I went the basic route with a black on black look. This bodysuit is one of my favorites. It’s the true definition of business in the front, party in the back with it’s scoop back, cut-out design. I tucked this into a pair of black ripped skinny jeans—my go-to choice when going out.
Anytime I tuck my top into my bottoms I reach for belt. It’s the most overlooked “style rule” in the book. A western buckle belt will do just the trick with this outfit. This one is super cheap from SheIn (under $5) and matches my hoops perfectly. If you’re in Kent, I highly recommend checking out the Dusty Armadillo. They have square dancing every night (Wednesday’s are “College Nights”) and this outfit is pretty standard for what the girls wear there!

Me and cow print were a match made in heaven. The Live A Little leather boots are my absolute favorite style Dingo carries. I grabbed these cow print boots in the black and white version back in June and they easily became some of my favorite shoes to style. They are trendy and yet a classic all at once, plus they score me compliments every time I wear them.
It was a no-brainer decision for me to grab them in the brown too! These shoes make such a statement and are super comfortable too. I’m usually a 7.5 or 8 in shoes and wear an 8 in all of Dingo’s styles. I always appreciate a little extra wiggle room when it comes to my boots.
I paired these boots with something super simple for the fall: just jeans and a sweater. I have this button front cardigan in a few different colors and it’s one of my favorites. It’s got the perfect amount of crop to it and is so incredibly soft. My jeans are an old favorite from Fashion Nova. They hug the bum in all the right places and are crazy soft. I love a good pair of flares for a night full if dancing. I, of course, added my cowboy hat for good measure. This one is from Justin’s too!

In addition to cowboy boots and western-inspired styles, Dingo also sells “normal” shoes. I have a few pairs of mules and clogs from them and love them all. When I saw they came out with a few tall pairs of boots that didn’t scream western I was thrilled—now I can sport their shoes even with my typical outfit combinations.
Don’t get me wrong, I love the first three outfits too but they aren’t necessarily something I’d wear strolling around campus, lol. A simple sweater like this tan Fashion Nova one, skinny jeans, and a pair of hoops is more my speed when it comes to attending class this time of year.
To spice up my look, I slipped into the Alameda leather boots from Dingo. I love me some leopard so these shoes were right up my allies. Knee high boots are the best and these are such a good height on me. I’m only 5’2 and yet these shoes don’t make my legs looks tubby at all—if anything, they elongate them!
These have got a super short heel, just under an inch, making them comfortable for everyday wear. They’ve also got the cutest lace up detail along the back. I love this unique touch and it makes getting these shoes on and off a bit easier. If you’re looking for a boot to make your drab outfits a little more ~fab~, look no further! These are them!
