Weekly Wrap Up #43 2020

If you read last week’s Weekly Wrap Up, you’d know that I came home to Maryland last Friday after a COVID outbreak occurred in my sorority house. I got tested Saturday morning and have been quarantined in my bedroom ever since.

Unfortunately, my test results did come back positive, but to my surprise, I have been feeling fine. Besides running a fever the first few days and being very tired, my symptoms have been very mild. I’ve been a little nasally but besides that, I’m feeling (mostly) fine and am so grateful for everyone who has reached out with well wishes and prayers.

Knowing me, I’ve been staying as busy as ever, working up a storm on holiday gift guides (which I am hoping to have live on November 2), daily uploading to YouTube, and getting ahead on school work. And, being the crazy person I am—yes, I have been putting on makeup and getting dressed each morning. Gotta impress those bedroom walls, baby! LOL.

Also, ignore the fact that this week’s outfits are very seasonally confused. A majority of my wardrobe here is spring/summer clothes and it was 75 out all week. I will be free in just a few days and am set to return back to school next weekend! As always, I’ll keep you posted if anything changes. Thank you again for the love!

THIS WEEK’S WEEK IN MY LIFE VLOG

Because I’m quarantined at home and have been needing something to keep me sane (and busy), I’ve been daily uploading to YouTube. Which is very exciting news for you guys! WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK

10.18.20— Not to sound dramatic or anything but I contributed absolutely nothing to society today. I literally stared at my phone for the entire day after getting my blog post and YouTube video up. I also watched Moneyball on Netflix which was actually very good!

10.19.20— I hit the ground running this morning, starting off my day with another new blog post and YouTube video (a common theme throughout this week, lol). I got a bunch of school work done for my Fashion Fabrics and Fashion Retail Industry Classes. I edited a few videos and scored tons of compliments on my crimped hair!

10.20.20— Tuesday always calls for a full day of work! I had both Economics and Fashion Fabrics class today followed by lots of online work for my other 4 classes. After finishing up some school work I sat down and filmed two YouTube videos and took some mirror pictures for Fashion Nova.

10.21.20— Started my Wednesday off by receiving my positive test results, yuck! Although that didn’t stop me from having a productive day. I started the day with my usual Wednesday uploads then got working on a long list of homework. I then began brainstorming ideas for my holiday gift guides and spent some time getting gift advice from some friends.

10.22.20— Woke up early this morning for an appointment with my advisor to discuss my spring semester classes and study abroad plans—I cannot believe I will be a junior! I had my usual Thursday classes followed by some last-minute homework, placing a few orders for brands, and a long night of editing.

10.23.20— Had such an awesome Friday, starting off with one of the blog posts I’m most proud of. I got all done up just for the heck of it and filmed one of my favorite videos to date. Baseball had an inner squad scrimmage today so I spent the afternoon watching some of my friends do their thing! Chatted with my bestie girl Liv for three hours tonight and it was just what my heart needed.

10.24.20— Slept in today and then got right to work on my holiday gift guides! I have a feeling I will be spending loads of time on these over the next few days. I also uploaded a few things to my Poshmark in hopes to clear out some stuff from my closet.
