Weekly Wrap Up #46 2020

Wrapped up another busy week here at Kent State! Time is flying and a week from today I’ll be heading home for Thanksgiving break. This week I celebrated an early five years of blogging with some of my school friends, had Alpha Phi initiation, and clocked in 43 hours (!!!) of Styled by McKenz work. Of course, I had another exam and a few projects to work on too. Things have been crazy but they always are this time of year… Soaking up this last week with my people and enjoying this time we’re all together!

THIS WEEK’S WEEK IN MY LIFE VLOG

It’s time for another long college week in my life! This week I’m sharing tons of work behind the scenes, spending lots of time with my littles, celebrating the blog’s 5th birthday a little early, and initiating the new members into Alpha Phi. It was another busy + exciting week and I’m so grateful I was able to catch it all on camera. Make sure you hit the subscribe button to stick around—vlogmas is quickly approaching!

WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK

11.8.20— I spent the entire day editing a college week in my life and getting my Sunday posts ready and published. It was super warm out today so I tried to get out and spend some time in the sun, journaling in the cutest new set from White Fox! I am loving the pink and it felt good to have a more relaxing day.

11.9.20— Started the day off getting my composite photo taken for my sorority! I then published today’s blog post and packed up some looks for a mid-day photoshoot with Liv and Nat. I got lots of schoolwork done, shot some mirror photos, and edited a video before doing some late-night studying with Lauren. We even made popcorn and were feeling all the nostalgia from our freshman year dorm days.

11.10.20— It was another warm day here so I took full advantage and wore the cutest dress! I had a busy day of class and studying for my Fashion Fabrics exam later this week. Tonight my sorority had out Flower Ceremony to begin the initiation process of our new members. I chose a flower for both my littles that I felt embodied them and wrote a little speech! It was a special little ceremony even over Zoom.

11.11.20— I spent the entire day working on Styled by McKenz tasks—editing videos, writing blog posts, posting to Instagram, etc. I finished up some Astronomy homework and then grabbed my littles, Sophia and Logan, for a quick dinner at Barrio! It was delicious and I’m so glad we were able to spend some extra time together. Spent the evening taking notes in bed and talking with Connor.

11.12.20— Knocked out Economics early this morning and then took my Fabrics exam which I got an A on! Did some work on an upcoming fashion project, filmed another haul video, and grabbed some cookie cakes for tomorrow. For dinner tonight I whipped up the yummiest shrimp tacos—my favorite!

11.13.20— Had photoshoots at 11 and 3 today and then took even more mirror photos when I got home. I really wanted to get a good chunk of pictures out of the way since things will be crazy over the next few weeks in terms of going home for the holidays! I spent the evening celebrating the blog’s fifth anniversary a little early. The real date isn’t until January 1 but with my friends all states apart on the actual day, we figured now would be a good time. Today reminded me why I love what I do so much and how awesome my support system truly is.

11.14.20— Up and at em bright and early this morning for Alpha Phi initiation. It was held virtually due to Covid but that didn’t stop us from welcoming so many awesome girls into our chapter. So happy my littles are officially Alpha Phis! We had a small brunch too that was super yummy. I changed into comfy clothes and spent the rest of the day editing in bed.
