Weekly Wrap Up #48 2020

My gosh did this week at home just fly! I drove home last Sunday and had the best week relaxing at home, stuffing my face with food, and spending time with the fam. Sadly, it’s back to reality for me— I’m hopping in the car as soon as I finish today’s blog post and heading back to Ohio. I’m not looking forward to all of the studying I have ahead of me but I am excited to end the semester off on a strong note!

I know this holiday season is looking different for most people but nonetheless, I hope you had a safe, happy Thanksgiving surrounded by loved ones! I’m so thankful for this community I’ve built and am grateful for your presence whether you’ve been with me for four years or four days. Wouldn’t be here without you! Sending lots of hugs.

THIS WEEK’S WEEK IN MY LIFE VLOG

Originally I had intended on daily vlogging while home for Thanksgiving but I was feeling lazy and just wasn’t in the mood to edit. So, an hour long week in my life it is, lol! WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK

11.22.20— Had a slow morning in my college apartment working on my Sunday posts, doing a few loads of laundry, and cleaning up before saying goodbye to Liv and getting on the road. I made such good time today and it feels so good to be home with the fam!

11.23.20— Because yesterday was a travel day I took today to sleep in, relax, and regroup for my week at home. I worked on a few blog posts and YouTube videos and started sharing some sales to my stories. After dinner, I grabbed Connor to help me do a few returns and we stopped for some french fries and Slurpees just because.

11.24.20— Headed to The Music Cafe for lunch with the fam and it was so yummy! I had a hair appointment scheduled for this afternoon and got fresh vanilla blonde babylights and a new cut. I went with curtain bangs after so many of you suggested them. I’m still not used to the front pieces being so short but it’s starting to grow on me!

11.25.20— Got my Wednesday blog post and YouTube video live and then ran a few errands with my mom. I spent the evening planning out my new bedroom as I have an exciting collaboration with Ikea in the works again! Went to dinner with the fam again where I ate some super yummy tater tots.

11.26.20— This week has been full of eating, there’s no doubt about it! It’s been so long since we had a Thanksgiving dinner at home but due to COVID, we decided not to gather with aunts and uncles. Mom cooked a fantastic dinner nonetheless! I spent the evening scouring the internet for the best Cyber Week sales.

11.27.20— Typically we’d be out all Thursday night/Friday morning Black Friday shopping but things were looking mighty different this year. We ran just a few errands and were home by ten. I sat in bed working on sale posts and gift guides for the rest of the day. What would be a trip home without a Hornets Nest night? I had the best french dip tonight as we celebrated our sweet Auggie.

11.28.20— Went to Lucketts, Virginia this morning to help a sweet blog friend shoot photos for her boutique, Volume Two. They have so many cute photo-ops at this location and we had a blast photographing new arrivals together. The fam and I grabbed our Christmas tree and I got on my way for a little afternoon photoshoot with my friend Meg. It felt so good to knock out a few looks this afternoon!
