Weekly Wrap Up #52 2020

And just like that, we’ve made it to Weekly Wrap Up #52. I cannot believe how quickly the year has flown by, but even more than that I can’t believe I’ve been posting these every Sunday for five years! I am so grateful for my little online diary and for being able to look back on all of the moments—both big and small.

Although our holiday definitely looked different this year thanks to Covid, we made the most of it and enjoyed a low-key Christmas with just the four of us. I’m missing the rest of our fam but am so grateful for this time to slow down and be together. How was your holiday? I’d love to hear in the comments below along with what your favorite gift was! THIS WEEK’S WEEK IN MY LIFE VLOG

Shared my final college week in my life last week and switched over to daily vlogs now that I’m home and have far more time to edit videos. Sharing our Christmas Eve traditions, what I gave/got for Christmas 2020, and a look into our holiday in yesterday’s vlog. WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK

12.20.20— The blog’s fifth anniversary is on January 1 but we took today to have our annual photoshoot + celebration. I don’t want to spoil the fun so I’m sharing just a few photos I saved from Snapchat. We went to DC for the balloon photos and I’m so in love with how they turned out. I cannot wait to share this special moment with you all and am feeling so full after such an awesome day celebrating all of my hard work and successes!

12.21.20— Had an early morning doctor’s appointment today followed by a Chick-fil-a run with the fam. The rest of my day consisted of editing videos and getting a blog post published. I’ll admit, I’ve been far less productive than I’d like these days but I’m telling myself a few slower days isn’t gonna kill anyone, lol!

12.22.20— Up and at em this morning for a few returns. Then back home to film a couple of YouTube videos— today I knocked out a try-on haul from Fashion Nova and Romwe. Hung out at Connor’s for a bit tonight catching up with my second fam and exchanging a few gifts.

12.23.20— Madison has been busy working almost every day so I’ve been shooting photos with one of my sweet friends from high school, Meg. She started a blog over quarantine and I’ve been showing her the ropes of photoshoots and behind the scenes. We went to Rio today and shot some awesome parking garage photos together. These won’t be up for a few more weeks but I’m so glad we were able to take advantage of the sunshine.

12.24.20— Our Christmas Eve is definitely looking a bit different this year with no grandparents or evening mass but we made the most of it. I even begged Madison to dress up for a mediocre picture by the Christmas tree…. duh! I’m so obsessed with this Fashion Nova dress and knew this would be the perfect day for it, even if it meant just walking to the dining room table.

12.25.20— Matching Christmas PJs is our oldest tradition and of course we stuck with it! We had a laid back Christmas—opening presents, eating far too much, and calling all kinds of family members to spend time with them virtually. I pray that next year things are back to “normal” so we can spend the holiday surrounded by everyone!

12.26.20— Was in that day after Christmas funk where you don’t want to do anything but lay around and eat, lol. My parents and I ventured out to Oscar’s for lunch and I had the best bacon cheeseburger. Spent far too long editing a video and then grabbed some pizza with the fam for dinner at the cutest restaurant in Mount Airy. We never eat out twice in one day but it sure was fun!
