I’ve been doing tons of trend forecasting lately—scouring Pinterest, Tik Tok, and even some of my school provided fashion resources to get the scoop on all the latest trends. And while tie-dye, mesh, and baby blue seem to be on the spring horizon, there are a few winter 2021 trends I’m still stuck on.
Today I’m recapping a few that I’m currently craving and sharing some new items from the cutest small business: Lindlee and Co Boutique. The owner, Lindsey, is a long-time follower of my pages and just recently launched her site. She’s got the cutest pieces at an affordable price point so you can rock trendy, unique items without breaking the bank. My code MCKENZIE10 will score you 10% off your entire purchase and help support this sweet girl’s dreams! Hope you love these looks.
If you read my blog over the summer then you may remember my major graphic tee obsession. I was picking them up left and right, having so much fun styling them with casual basics. Although I fell off the bandwagon a bit during the fall, when I saw this distressed motorcycle graphic from Lindlee and Co I instantly fell in love! I’m obsessed with the ripped detailing along the neckline and it’s just the right amount of oversized.
An average school day outfit for me looks very similar to this one! Sport your tee on its own or layer a turtleneck underneath + a flannel over top. There are endless ways to play around with these pieces. I’m front tucking mine into a pair of black straight leg jeans. I love the minimal rips in these and the ankle-length pairs perfectly with high top Converse.
Of course, I had to incorporate the stars back into my outfit somewhere else— a gold chain belt did just the trick. Oh, and a pair of matching earrings too! Pop on a puffer or a leather jacket for a little extra warmth in the winter. I have a feeling I’ll be sporting this tee a ton throughout the seasons.

I’ve been on a sweater vest kick for the last couple of weeks now and have been really loving the step out of my comfort zone. I never envisioned myself styling sweater vests but admittedly they are so practical. There’s nothing I hate more than the feeling of my sleeves bunching inside my winter jacket. With a sweater vest over top a button-up you get the added layer (and warmth!) without the bulkiness along the arms.
Although you could totally take this houndstooth number the business casual route with a pair of black pixie pants and booties, I wanted classy to meet streetwear. Therefore, baggy straight leg jeans from SheIn and a pair of high top Converse did just the trick. No Tik Tok inspired outfit would be complete without a baguette bag! This shiny croc one is from SheIn and one of my favorites.

As you can tell from *every* outfit featured in today’s blog post, straight-leg jeans have been dominating my wardrobe this season. Lindlee and Co just gifted me this light wash pair and I’ve been styling them left and right. They hug my waist perfectly and have a relaxed fit throughout that’s super comfortable for everyday wear.
Up top, I’m wearing the cutest cable knit sweater. My wardrobe has been lacking in the color area these days, so a bright pop of orange was just what I needed. I love this asymmetrical neckline—such a fun detail! Jeans and a sweater is a never-fail—regardless of what occasion you’re getting dressed for, this outfit is perfect.
For shoes, I’ve got on a basic pair of brown booties. These have a slight point that helps elongate the legs. To sinch the waist and give this outfit a little “something” I popped on a snakeskin belt to match!

I know today’s blog post was on the shorter side but I was in the mood to kick back and chit-chat about some of my latest style cravings! Don’t you love those Lindlee and Co Boutique pieces?! I sure do! Be sure to follow them on Instagram and show a little small business support this week. Thanks for stopping by!
With love, McKenz
