Weekly Wrap Up #9 2021

I’ve always said I feel better when I’m busy and this week reminded me of just that. I packed my schedule full with a couple of photoshoots, some breakfast dates, lots of study time, baseball games, and time with friends, and am feeling so content as I sit here closing out the week. I’m reminded more than ever that work/school/social life balance is so important and am hoping I can have another week as good as this one. Perhaps I owe some of it to the sun that finally decided to come out!

On another note, excuse how casual my outfits are this week. I don’t think I’ve ever dressed so lazy in my life but I’ve just felt very ~uninspired~ with my wardrobe lately. Plus, I’ve been spending hours upon hours working at the computer so the comfier the better these days. Oh well, I know that’s the reality for so many of you so I hope you don’t mind! Sunday, February 21

Having myself a typical Sunday spending most of my morning getting a blog post written, YouTube video up, and my outfit posts published. I then headed out for a quick afternoon photoshoot with the help of my friend Jill. I bundled up and headed to the baseball field for a quick journaling session—it was opening day for them so I was feeling a little nostalgic!

Monday, February 22

Keeping things comfy today and getting straight to work. I had tons of blog work to catch up on today so most of my day was spent glued to the computer. I have a mid-term for Marketing later this week so the rest of my day was spent studying and catching up on a few readings.

Tuesday, February 23

Up and at em this morning for a busy day of school. I had all kinds of assignments to complete and more studying to do for my midterm. Had my little Logan over for taco night at the mansh and then went over to catch up with my girls Olivia and Lauren.

Wednesday, February 24

Met my sweet friend Tayla for brunch and a chit-chat sesh this morning at Over Easy. We had our first glimpse of spring temperatures today and the vibes were right! Filmed a YouTube video and then packed up for a photoshoot downtown with my little Sophia.

Thursday, February 25

Wasn’t as productive as I had hoped to be yesterday so I woke up extra early to get all the things done today. Wrote a blog post and caught up on a gazillion emails before heading to the study room for a few hours of homework. Knocked out my mid-term exam for Marketing then did a little editing before hanging with Mike for a bit.

Friday, February 26

Finally up and ready for my Friday morning class. Grabbed acai bowls from The Fruit Stand with my fam for breakfast and then came home for a busy work afternoon. Filmed an updated apartment tour for Desenio and then a spring try-on haul for Princess Polly. Sat in bed writing a blog post while watching King of Hearts, our sorority’s big (virtual) philanthropy event.

Saturday, February 27

My roommate Emily’s parents came to Kent today and took us to brunch at our favorite place, Over Easy. We both got the breakfast tacos and they were an easy 10/10. Came home and spent the entire afternoon glued to the TV. Baseball had a doubleheader against Tennessee Tech today and had two incredible wins with four hits for Mike! Woohoo! Eager to see them play again tomorrow for the series finale.
