Express Spring Denim Sale

I know I just shared jeans to the blog on Friday but I’ve got even more styles to share with you today. While I love a good pair of funky flares from Fashion Nova, Express is where I get all of my “every day” jeans. Whether you’re looking for a skinny, straight leg, or cropped flair they’ve got you covered.

Their spring sale is running right now which means all of my jeans from them are currently discounted. Regular priced denim is 25% off and there are dozens of clearance styles right now all marked $25 (the cheapest I’ve ever seen them!!!). Run, don’t walk—this sale won’t last long.

For sizing reference, I am 5’2 and have a 24/25 inch waist. I do have longer legs so I wear a 00 regular in all of their jeans; however, they do offer petite and plus sizes in most styles.

High Waisted Ripped Cropped Skinny Jeans

I’m sure Tik Tok has informed you that skinny jeans are in fact “out” but that won’t stop me from wearing them. Don’t get me wrong, I love dabbling into the straight leg styles and big bell bottoms, in fact I shared a few just recently in this blog post, but there are some outfits that just need a true skinny jean.

I know low rise jeans are also making a comeback this spring but that’s one bandwagon I just can’t hop on. Denim can and should be subjective. I know that high rise jeans flatter my figure best and make me feel most confident, therefore that’s what I’ll continue to wear. By all means, do the same.

I’ve been on the hunt for a pair of skinny jeans that fit both my butt and waist, something I struggle with from time to time. I finally found the perfect pair. These aren’t awkwardly bunchy around the crotch and look just as good with a long tunic as they do a tiny crop top. Plus, they have minimal distressing just as I like it.

Sage green is the color of spring 2021 and I can’t say I’m mad about it. This hue compliments my complexion so beautifully and I love this tie side style. I’m slipping into my favorite neutral mules from Chinese Laundry. These are the perfect transition shoe from boots to sandals. Popping on my favorite felt hat to complete the outfit.

Super High Waisted Black Raw Step Hem Skinny Jeans

Not only did I grab skinny jeans, but I grabbed two pairs! I’m really making the rest of Gen Z mad with that choice, lol. But seriously, who doesn’t have a good pair of black skinny jeans?! I wore the heck out of my last pair and decided it was finally time to replace them.

I saw these on sale and had to grab them. Express recently came out with a “super high waisted” style that comes up past your belly button, sucking in your entire mid drift area. They are crazy flattering and the stretch-plus fabric is insanely comfortable. (Aka denim you can actually move in all day!)

Although I tend to wear my black jeans most when going out, they can easily be transitioned into a date night fit. This adorable tiered peplum top just came in from SheIn. It’s got an oversized fit that billows in the wind. Cuff your jeans and throw on a pair of lace up heels to elevate this look in no time.

High Waisted White Ripped Raw Hem Cropped Flare Jeans

I don’t know about you but Easter typically marks the revival of white denim in my closet. I find that my white jeans need replacing far quicker than the rest. And of course no Express shopping trip would be complete without a pair of cropped flares. I picked up my first pair of cropped flares a little over a year ago and the rest is history.

If you’re petite like me, this style will be your best friend! These too are high rise, hugging me in both the butt and waistband. The cropped ankle length is adorable with mules but also works well with sandals and heels as we transition into the summer. These have a raw hem and just a couple of small rips for a casual, yet polished feel.

Up top I’ve got on the cutest neutral tee from SheIn. This has a deeper V that looks adorable with a white lace bralette peaking out. I’m slipping into the same mules from the first look. For earrings, I’m wearing a pair of old favorites from Walmart. I love the crochet details!
