Weekly Wrap Up #20 2021

A whole week without a blog post, say what?! It’s been years since I’ve taken an entire week off. Truthfully, it wasn’t intentional but I realized how badly I needed a few days away from the blog. Don’t worry, I wasn’t completely slacking off. In fact, I was running around unpacking from my move home for the summer + repacking for my trip to Nashville, Tennessee for the second half of the week.

If you don’t keep up with my YouTube videos then you’re probably a bit lost… I landed my first hotel partnership with The Gallatin Hotel and flew to Nash on Wednesday for a four day stay in Music City. I went with one of my YouTube friends, Devon and had a blast. The main purpose of our travels was to capture content (and a lot of it!). I plan on sharing an entire Nashville outfit guide, pack with me, hotel review and more featuring the thousands of photos we shot.

We still did some touristy stuff and got to see all kinds of sights. I’ll give you the basic rundown in today’s Weekly Wrap Up but you’ll have to wait for the other posts coming later this week to get the full scoop. Fingers crossed this opens many more doors and that I’ll be traveling somewhere else within the coming weeks. Until then, let’s recap this crazy week.

Sunday, May 9

Felt a little guilty for having such a slow morning today, but after yesterday’s move home I was quite tired. Got my week in my life edited and today’s blog post published. Then headed out with the fam for a little Mother’s Day ice cream trip to Abbotts. We visited with some extended fam, enjoyed some Chipotle for dinner and watched some tv to finish off the day.

Monday, May 10

Day two at home can only mean one thing: time to unpack. I had clothes in every corner possible so a big closet cleanout was also on today’s agenda. Pulled tons of stuff for my next in person closet sale (happening next week!) before getting ready for the baseball game. It was opening day for my high school and of course I had to be there to watch Chase do his thing!

Tuesday, May 11

Twas a busy day running around getting ready for my Nashville trip. Finalized my travel details, did a little pampering, then picked out tons of outfits to bring with. I vlogged the entire day here if you’re interested.

Wednesday, May 12

Met Devon at the airport bright and early and we were on our way to Nashville! This was our first time traveling together and we shared so many laughs. We stayed at the Gallatin, a new boutique hotel in East Nashville. It was the cutest property ever! Today consisted of a few outfit changes, some exploring around The Gulch, and a bit of work at a local coffee shop.

Thursday, May 13

I think I changed outfits four times each day, as I was trying to maximize content + photo opportunities as much as possible, lol. I’ll share all of the looks later this week, but for now here’s a peek. We met up with a sweet internet friend, Zoe at The Frothy Monkey for bagel sandwiches and coffee. So many sweet murals and locations along 12 South!

Friday, May 14

Made our way to Broadway today and my gosh was it fun! We spent much of our afternoon at the Jason Aldene bar and the live music was incredible. More exploring along the Pedestrian Bridge and tons of photos taken, of course.

Saturday, May 15

Took advantage of our last day in Nashville and packed in all kinds of content— Tik Toks, Instagram photos, stories you name it! We went to The Listening Room for some incredible live music, strolled through some vintage shops, and walked along Broadway popping in and out to hear smaller artists. Caught a late flight back home to close out the best trip.
