Weekly Wrap Up #25 2021

My gosh, these summer weeks are flying! I wish time would slow down; I’m appreciating this time off more than I ever could have imagined. This week was jam-packed with all kinds of eating out, baseball games, and time with loved ones. It’s crazy to think a year ago we were fully locked down—my heart feels so full returning back to some type of normalcy.

I’m all packed and currently en route to the airport for my next travels. This time around I’ll be in Charleston, South Carolina visiting a sweet friend I met through Styled by McKenz many years ago. More travel content is on the way + I’ve got a few summer outfit ideas coming as well. I’m going crazy trying to keep up with all the content so I hope you’re loving it. Thanks for sticking around.

Sunday, June 13

It’s been a minute since Connor and I have done something fun just the two of us, so we headed to Mount Airy Inn for brunch today. Eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, and toast were the perfect way to start the day. Came home and got all kinds of Sunday computer work done from the comfort of my bed.

Monday, June 14

Our high school baseball team won Regionals last week which meant today was their State-quarter final game. Madison and I drove to watch and Chase got the only hit + run of the game—woohoo! Unfortunately, they lost but we still spent the night hanging out together, celebrating his awesome season and watching the Friends reunion.

Tuesday, June 15

I’ve been craving a day of tanning in my Tommy Bahama chair so after a morning of editing, I put on a swimsuit + some sunscreen and went outside. It felt so good to soak up some Vitamin D and I managed to write a whole blog post while sitting out there. Changed into some comfy clothes for the remainder of the day—it’s safe to say I’m obsessed with this terry cloth set.

Wednesday, June 16

Had a few errands to run this morning followed by a work call and some emails to catch up on. It was another gorgeous day here so I took my computer outside and spent the afternoon rebooting my website + writing another blog post. Headed to the baseball field to watch one of my best friends Ethan play. We spent the rest of the night catching up after many months without seeing each other.

Thursday, June 17

It’s been forever since I filmed a SheIn try-on bikini haul but today was the day! Felt food to be back at. Grabbed one of my sweet friends Madelyn and went to my first Gaithersburg Giants games of the summer. They had their first win too which made it even better!

Friday, June 18

Met Mrs. Wentzlaff in Bethesda for lunch! I’m so grateful for Covid restrictions being lifted so that I can start seeing everyone again. I ran to the mall afterward for a partnership with Windsor. Out to The Hornets Nest with the fam for dinner. I had the buffalo chicken rice bowl and it was delicious.

Saturday, June 19

I was in dire need of a haircut + color so I took care of that first thing this morning. It turned out so good—I love having my blonde back! I  spent the afternoon packing for my trip to Charleston, South Carolina + headed to an early Father’s Day dinner at The Surf House. They have the best shrimp tacos in the world. Not to mention the atmosphere here is to die for. Cannot recommend coming here enough.
