It’s safe to say the world is beginning its return to “normalcy”. I’ve been catching flights left and right and the airports have been jam-packed. With so many people planning their summer travels to the beach, I figured what better thing to do than share five outfit ideas for your next vacation?! I’m always looking for an excuse to get dressed up and these outfits sure do reflect it!
There’s nothing better than that post-beach day shower when your hairs a bit blonder and your skin more sun-kissed. I prefer something a bit looser after a day in the sun—a romper or dress is the perfect thing to reach for. I’m on a major orange kick right now and this mix of pink and yellow is everything! I’m a sucker for a bright color palette and this look certainly makes that tan pop.
With a relaxed fit, this piece is so easy to dress up or down. I’m slipping into small pink mules which are the right height for any occasion. To keep things beachy I’m carrying my favorite straw bag and throwing on some earrings to match. Regardless of what your post-beach day plans are, this look is perfect!

At the beach with your girl gang? Chances are you’re headed out to grab some drinks. I don’t blame you—all the fruity options sound delicious! I’m treating every outing as an occasion in this post-Covid world so a dress is right up my alley. I am obsessed with this bandeau, cut-out style right now. I’ve been seeing this silhouette from so many different retailers and am obsessed! It’s flirty yet fun and similar to the last piece, easy to dress up and down.
I’m keeping things casual with a pair of straw wedges. These have a super chunky heel so they’re incredibly easy to walk in yet give me just enough height. For drinks, keep your purse minimal by reaching for a straw clutch instead. This fits your wallet, and phone perfectly. I’m layering up on some gold jewels to complete the outfit.

Most families I know treat vacation as a time to splurge a little. Perhaps a nicer dinner is on the agenda in which case this outfit is perfect! This royal blue top is incredible. With a sweater-like material, this top can easily be worn without a bra. Plus, I love a little criss-cross action. This ties along the front for a spunky accent.
Of course, I had to dress things up with a pair of white jeans. The Express cropped flares are my go-to style. They are just the right length and look amazing when worn with block heels. I scored this royal blue pair from SheIn last year and they are the best! Not only are they super easy to walk in, but they give the outfit such an expensive feel— anything monochrome usually does.
However, if your restaurant is a bit more relaxed, try swapping the jeans out for a pair of white denim shorts and the heels for a pair of strappy sandals. There are a gazillion ways to style this adorable top; don’t be afraid to mix and match.

Although we tend to vacation somewhere super chill like the Outer Banks, I know there are plenty of destinations where nightlife is huge. If you’re headed into this scene, I highly recommend an outfit like this one! These wrap-around scarves are my current favorite style. There are so many ways to tie these and they look so effortless. I went for the classic halter style. Yes, this is a bit riskier of a style but if you tie your top tight enough, you’ll be fine—trust me.
Although denim shorts would work fine with this, I decided to spice things up and reach for a matching skirt. Both pieces are from SheIn however they were sold separately. This ruched style is so flattering and hits your curves in all the right places. Plus, the tie-side details allow you to adjust the length of this in no time. I’m slipping into short mules to finish off the look. A manageable heel is a must for a night full of dancing with the girls.

My favorite part of family vacays are the nightly ice cream runs. With nothing else on the agenda, a basic white cami and a skort are the perfect combo. I have this top in a dozen colors and it’s one of my favorite affordable basics. It’s double-lined with no see-through issues and a comfy material. I reach for them constantly and highly recommend grabbing a few!
I’ve been on a major skort rich recently. With the mobility of shorts yet the dressiness of a skirt, it’s hard not to love them! For an evening with no set itinerary, this outfit works for everything. Of course, I’m choosing shoes that match my top. These white Franco Sarto wedges are my absolute favorite. They are the perfect height— incredibly comfortable with a velcro closure so they fit the ankle beautifully.
