Week In My Life + Outfits Of The Week

It’s not often that I miss a Sunday Weekly Wrap Up upload but when I do it’s for good reason–in fact I think the last time I missed one was in February of 2020 as I came home from my first New York Fashion Week. Well fast forward a year and a half and not much has changed. Of course with three flight delays yesterday, we didn’t make it back till 3 in the morning so forgive me for getting this up a bit later than expected. 

Started off the week in the Outer Banks for a little weekend getaway with the fam, then home for twenty four hours before jetting off to Miami for my first Miami Swim Week. I stayed with two different content creators and we had the most amazing time. I truly cannot express how grateful I am for this job connecting me with some of the coolest people in the game. This was a once in a lifetime experience and I can’t wait to share all of the outfits + show details with you later this week. In the meantime, here’s a little sneak peek of all the action.

WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK

Sunday, July 4 

It has been so long since I’ve been to the beach. I didn’t realize how badly I needed today to rest and relax! I headed down to the water at nine this morning and didn’t leave until five. If it weren’t for dinner at Barefoot Bernies I don’t know if I ever would have left, lol. We had the yummiest seafood pizza + mahi mahi tacos for dinner followed by fireworks for the fourth.

Monday, July 5

Unfortunately this beach trip was super short and sweet so today was our last day—I managed to soak in a few hours of sunshine before showering and packing up the car for the drive home. We got stuck in the worst traffic but luckily it gave me plenty of time to edit YouTube videos and catch up on blog post writing.

Tuesday, July 6

Home for twenty-four hours and jam packed every last second starting off with an early morning doctors appointment and some back to school shopping at The Container Store. My mom and I grabbed Chopped for lunch and then went home so I could finish up some filming + writing for the week. I went live on Instagram where my followers helped me choose twenty outfits for my trip to Miami. Cleaned up the room and then hit the hay early for my morning flight to Miami.

Wednesday, July 7

Off to Miami this morning with my girl Sam—we just met yesterday and already hit it off so well. We touched down in Miami and spent our first day in the city getting our bearings and devising a game plan for the rest of the week. We shot some content before heading to the cutest Italian restaurant for a fancy first night dinner. Feeling so excited for the week ahead.

Thursday, July 8

Today kicked off swim week so we were up bright and early to shoot some content. We ventured out to brunch where I had some yummy breakfast tacos. Sam and I spent some time shooting different looks downtown before gearing up for our evening shows. We watched Columbia Swimwear tonight and the designs were incredible. Such a cool experience!

Friday, July 9

After shooting some early morning beach content the girl gang and I packed up for a brunch + networking event at The Ritz Carlton. We shot a few more outfits and then hit the PARAISO tent for three different fashion shows. Oh Polly was hands down the best one of the night. We grabbed some late night pasta to finish off the most jam packed day.

Saturday, July 10

Twas another full day! We spent the morning sifting through content then headed downtown for some chips and guac before our shows. We started off at the PARAISO tent then wandered over to Sports Illustrated for the most amazing event. There were so many incredible people here! Then back to watch the Honey Birdett show which was the perfect finale to an awesome week of runway shows. The girls and I spent the night chatting, swimming at our hotel, and shoving our faces with pizza. I don’t think we fell asleep until three in the morning but my gosh did we have fun. These are the days that life is truly all about.
