Week In My Life + Outfits Of The Week

Traveling back home from our trip to Wisconsin as we speak and my gosh did the ten days fly! It’s been six months since we’ve seen our grandparents and almost three years since we’ve seen the rest of the fam so it was extra special getting to see everyone this year. 

I decided not to put together a travel recap for this trip as I wanted to spend most of the week with the fam making memories rather than working so this is all you’re getting! They’re in such a small part of Wisconsin that I don’t think many of you are visiting here anyways, lol. I did, however, vlog this trip and will have that video up within the next few days.

WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK

Sunday, July 25

Headed to the golf course with the entire fam for nine holes. Admittedly I only played three and was ~garbage~ but we had a blast nonetheless. We listened to music and snacked on some french fries before heading out for pizza! We laughed so much today.

Monday, July 26

We headed to “the beach” today also known as the campgrounds nearby. There’s a big lake with a bit of sand and all kinds of water activities. Madison and I rented our usual paddle boat and took dad out for a spin. Of course, we had to stop for our favorite ice cream cones. Back home for a fish fry dinner with the whole fam!

Tuesday, July 27

Every year we come to Wisconsin we have a “girls day” where we head into town for a little shopping, lunch, and a few photos. We popped in and out of the local stores and grabbed a few sweet treats on the way.  We watched lots of Olympics tonight and took an extra-long golf cart ride after dinner.

Wednesday, July 28

Started the day off with brunch at our favorite breakfast place- Robins Nest. They have the best cajun potatoes ever! Sadly it rained the rest of the day so we sat inside playing board games and watching more of the Olympics. It was a pretty chill day- no outfit photo accounted for.

Thursday, July 29

Off to the family farm today for the second leg of our trip. My dad grew up spending lots of time here with all of his cousins so it’s special getting to come back for family reunions. We did a tour of the good ole stomping grounds that you’ll see in my Wisconsin vlog. Stay tuned!

Friday, July 30

Our first full day at the farm was spent doing a lot of eating, hanging around the fire, and riding the golf cart through the fields. We had a big cornhole tournament and made s’mores after dinner!

Saturday, July 31

Everyone was in town today so the festivities continued. The gang went tubing and I took the kiddos to the lake so they could swim and play in the water. We enjoyed dinner in the barn, played some baseball in the field, and listened to music around the fire. Oh, and of course played ghosts in the graveyard!
