With all the hustle and bustle of summer travels and preparation for the back-to-school season, it feels like it’s been ages since I headed out for a true photoshoot and did some styling ~just for fun~. It feels so good to be back at it this week.
Today on rounding up five summer shoe trends + sharing how I’m styling them. All five of these pairs are from SheIn and were a part of my last haul on YouTube. This batch was chock full of cute dresses, trendy sandals, and fun summer styles. Be sure to give it a watch when you’re done reading—in the meantime here are five pairs of shoes to get your hands on this season.
Many years ago I scored a pair of blue and white floral knee-high boots from SheIn. They have a crazy, white geometric shape heel and they score me compliments from strangers every time I wear them. When I saw this pair of SheIn heels with the same base, I instantly added them to my cart. These have those same stacked white geometric shapes that are so unique. Although you’d think they’d be hard to walk in, these have a square toe and a flat sole that’s surprisingly rather easy.
The rest of the shoe has a striped pattern and nude straps that lace up around the legs. You know my love for this style- they make your legs look so skinny and long; two pluses in my book!
Although these would look killer with a blazer or dress, I wanted to try something different and throw them on with my typical tank top and shorts. This high neck style is my favorite- it’s perfect for layering necklaces and is awesome if you have broader shoulders or a larger chest. The one I’ve linked is super supportive and can be worn without a bra! These shorts are a recent SheIn find and have the perfect fit. They are super relaxed with just a few rips and a raw hem! I’ve worn them a bunch already and am obsessed. Layered gold jewelry pulls this look together perfectly. I’ll definitely be wearing this combo out once I’m back on campus with my girls!

I have to admit, green is one of the colors I reach for less often and yet seeing Danielle Caroline rock so much of it recently had me sold on these mules! Anything neon is so fun this time of year and makes your summer tan pop even more. These have a square toe that screams Y2K and a triangular heel that incorporates more of that geometric trend I discussed earlier! These truly add a pop to every outfit and I have a feeling they’ll make a fun statement for going out looks this school year.
To style them I popped on a green tank to match. Although you could pair these with shorts, I personally think they look best with a baggier pair of jeans. This gives it an edgier vibe! These boyfriend jeans are from Fashion Nova and are some of my favorites- they have huge holes and a relaxed fit that give every outfit that ~cool girl~ feel. To keep things streetwear-inspired I popped on my favorite black blazer and a crossbody bag. This is so different than my norm and yet I loved the way it came together!

If you know me then you know how much I love a good pair of lace-up heels! They’ve been popular for a few seasons now and it’s safe to say my collection has grown a little out of hand. When I saw JuJu Havens rocking these lace-ups without the tie, I knew I had to find the look for less. Thankfully SheIn had a pair of these heels for under $30 and I snagged them so fast.
These lace up around the leg but have a bit of wiring throughout that keeps them in place. Although they aren’t the most comfortable shoe in the world, they make you look like a million bucks. And that my friends, is something you can’t put a price on. I hope more retailers come out with this style—I have a feeling they’re going to be the next big thing.
And rightfully so! Paired with denim shorts these make your legs look miles long. Up top I’ve thrown on one of my favorite body contour tank tops from Express. I have these in a gazillion colors now and they truly can be worn for everything dressed up and down! Layer on the gold necklaces, pop on gold hoops and bam you’ve styled all the basics into a killer outfit.

These sandals are the perfect combination of my white sandal obsession and ruched straps! These are the perfect shoes to reach for if you’re looking for a dressier style but want something flat. I’m more of a heel girl myself but every now and then I need a pair of flats for a day of walking. These are just that and pair with all kinds of summer dresses and rompers.
Speaking of summer dresses, this floral one is also from SheIn! I’m obsessed with the baby ruffle along the bottom and the cute tie straps. These add such a feminine touch and help cater this piece towards every chest size. Pop on statement earrings to match and you’ve completed the look. I wore this fit to dinner last week and it was a hit!

Ruched mules we’re something I was a little hesitant about but after seeing them all over my for you page, I decided to give them a shot. They look so chic and SheIn offers them for a fraction of the cost. I’ve been slacking in the colored department recently so opted for a pair of pink this time around- they’ve got a one-and-a-half-inch heel that’s the perfect amount of lift for every day.
I of course styled them with a sweet summer dress. This maxi was a part of my last SheIn haul and scored a lot of love from you all. It has sweet-tiered ruffles throughout that add a feminine touch. This look could easily work for brunch with girlfriends or for a summer wedding! I have a feeling I’ll be recreating a lot of these looks during sorority recruitment season.
