Weekly Wrap Up #37 2021 Week In My Life + Outfits Of The Week
I believe Hannah Montana called it the “best of both worlds” and it’s safe to say she was absolutely right. My double life has been in full swing this week. Just as I was getting used to the work/school/social life balance, it was time for me to board my first flight of the fall. On Thursday I headed to New York City for my second New York Fashion Week.
I had the most amazing (and chaotic) week of my life! Between all the shows, events, and thousands upon thousands of photos taken, I’m so worn out. But more than anything I’m feeling so incredibly lucky for this dream job and the opportunities it’s provided me with. Sunday, September 5
Sundays are meant for resting + recharging. I spent the morning working on a blog post + YouTube video from the comfort of my bed. I finally got up and dressed and headed onto campus to tackle my to-do list. I had lots of last-minute work things to tackle before my trip! Headed on an afternoon walk with Griffith and made dinner with the roomies before journaling the night away.

Monday, September 6
Had a busy Monday morning filming try-on hauls and shooting photos for the blog. I spent some time tackling a few school assignments then got ready for a night at the baseball field. My roomies and I have started a bucket list of things we want to do our last year in Kent and attend an Indians game was high up on it. We went tonight and it was a blast. Beautiful baseball weather + the perfect night for a yummy hotdog with my gal pals.

Tuesday, September 7
Off to class this morning! I’m still getting used to going in-person but it feels good to have some social interaction. I quite literally spent the *entire* rest of my day taking notes and completing assignments. I finished six whole days of school work in one so that I could take it easy in New York City this week and my gosh was it my best decision yet. Brain dead but feeling accomplished!

Wednesday, September 8
Off to Wild Goat with my sweet friend Tayla this morning for a yummy breakfast + catch up time. I spent the rest of the day sending emails, finalizing travel plans, and packing up my suitcase for my trip! By the grace of God it weighed less than 50 pounds—woohoo!

Thursday, September 9
Woke up bright and early this morning to get to the airport! I flew from Cleveland to Laguardia, making it into the city safe and sound before one. Of course, no trip of mine is complete without my sidekick, Sam. She took the train in to spend her first New York Fashion Week with me. After an hour or so to catch up we were dressed and off to our first show, finishing off the night with a yummy Italian dinner.

Friday, September 10
Sam and I were up and at em bright and early this morning to shoot some content before getting ready for our first shows of the day. We got stopped by a gazillion people and were photographed by dozens in these fun outfits. We made our way to the Revolve Gallery where we spent some time looking at different collections and taking photos. We then were off to a Forever 21 show to close out the night.

Saturday, September 11
Spending 9/11 in New York City was certainly special—there were memorial services everywhere! Sending extra thoughts to everyone involved + who spent today missing a loved one. We had another busy morning capturing content before meeting one of my sweet cousins Meg for brunch. Then off to a few shows before spending the afternoon walking the streets of Soho + exploring The Villages.
