Weekly Wrap Up #38 2021 Week In My Life + Outfit Of The Week
As much fun as New York Fashion Week was, it feels good to be back in full-on school mode. Diving right back into my routine— I’m trying to get back to working out every day, prioritizing social time with friends each night, and sticking to my typical class schedule.
Plus we jumped right into sorority recruitment this week with two days of Open House round and one day of Sisterhood! Next weekend we have Preference + Bid day so it will be another busy weekend full of meeting new girls. Woohoo!

Sunday, September 12
Still kicking it in New York City! Sam and I were up and at em early again this morning to make it to a few morning shows at Hi Tech Moda. We then spent the afternoon wandering around Soho and the West Village area, snapping outfit photos and eating the yummiest food. We ended the night with gelato!

Monday, September 13
Our last day in New York City was concluded with some more photos (shocker) and one last bagel sandwich. Sam and I parted ways but thankfully it wasn’t too sad as we’ll be back together in a month for my fall break! I spent a few hours getting work done in the airport before my flight back to Cleveland. Gonna miss this awesome week!

Tuesday, September 14
Double life was in full swing today—up and ready bright and early for a meeting with my professor before a day full of class. I headed over to the fashion school for two of my classes and an interview with A Mag. Made dinner with the roomies, went for a walk with Em, and then curled up in bed to watch some TV.

It was (thankfully) a rainy day in Kent which meant I was able to spend the entire day at my desk getting blog work done and completing assignments. I finally pulled myself away in time for dinner + a sorority meeting with the girls. Got sooo much checked off my to-do list today—thank God!

Twas another busy day here. I started the morning off with a three-mile walk around campus with my little Sophia. I then went to class and finished up the rest of my schoolwork for the week. I snapped some photos on campus with the help of my roomie and spent the night editing videos!

Friday, September 17
Off for my morning walk with Sophia then to Over Easy for breakfast tacos with Em. It’s so weird not living with each other this year so we’re soaking up all the time together we can get. I got a blog post published then hopped on Zoom for day one of Open House round of sorority recruitment.

Saturday, September 18
We had an 8am wake-up call for day 2 of sorority recruitment and spent the entire day getting to know new members. I squeezed in a YouTube video, a phone call with my mama, and another walk around campus before heading over to the Mansh to help set up for our first round of in-person recruitment tomorrow!
