I’ve shared a lot of Thanksgiving outfit ideas over the years (2016 // 2017 // 2018 // 2019 // 2020) and yet, I’d like to think my style has gotten at least *a little* better over the years, Therefore today I’m sitting down to share ten more outfits with you! With the big day less than two weeks away, I figured now is the perfect time to do so.
As per usual, I’ve tried my best to share a wide variety of options—while some people like to dress up for the occasion I know others like to kick back and keep it a little more casual. Personally, I love any excuse to get dressed up but I’ve got you all covered with today’s ideas. Let’s hop in!
Something about Thanksgiving time just screams a plaid skirt and tights to me. I’ve reached for this combo myself several years in a row now and it never seems to fail! Tights instantly make an outfit look ten times classier plus they give you a little extra warmth. I highly recommend pairing them with sock booties to help elongate and slim the legs.
Up top, I’d recommend a bodysuit. Something that seamlessly tucks into your skirt and snaps along the crotch will be your best friend. Of course, no outfit of mine is complete without layered gold jewelry and a felt hat for photos!

I have this midi dress in black and it’s so darn flattering that I had to grab it in this burnt orange as well—you know I love a festive fall hue! I feel as though this outfit would be perfect if you’re hosting Thanksgiving dinner. Slip-on mules are super practical if you plan on being on your feet all day and a dress is always a safe route if you’re worried about your pants feeling snug later that night, lol.

Practically every blog post I share has some variation of a little black dress in it. There’s simply nothing more versatile + practically everyone I know owns one. I just grabbed this long sleeve one from Romwe and am loving it. It’s not super fitted yet it’s not frumpy either. Plus, it’s long-sleeved which is ideal this time of year.
I decided to keep things pretty chill and just layered a tan flannel over top. I popped on my favorite booties ever from Steve Madden—the Hutch boots have a short heel that’s super comfy + manageable for everyday wear. Pop on matching socks to elevate your outfit just a tad.

One last dress outfit because this knit one was too cute to resist. I’ve been seeing this style everywhere recently and had to get my hands on it. It’s a bit thicker than your average material but not as warm as your typical sweater dress. It’s the perfect in-between if you live in a warmer climate.
I’ve gone ahead and added some of my favorite brown leather boots. These have a taller shift that helps elongate the legs. Of course, I’m finishing this outfit off with my Lack of Colors hat. Thanksgiving is truly the perfect excuse to break out the funky hat you love but never wear!

As much as I love a good dress or skirt for Thanksgiving day, I know some people like to keep things casual. I personally choose a dress because I prefer no pants but hey, that’s just me lol. If you’re someone who prefers leggings then this outfit is right up your alley. I’m reaching for my Spanx faux leather leggings to make things just a tad dressier.
Up top, I’m throwing on a chunky sweater. Add a pair of socks to match and your favorite black boots and you’re good to go. By no means is this outfit anything crazy, yet it’s still cute!

You can never go wrong with a tank top + cardigan duo. I wear these Body Contour tank tops from Express for quite literally every occasion. I have this one in several colors but the tan is the perfect neutral for this time of year. I’m layering over my new favorite cardigan from SheIn. This one is super oversized and easily slouches off the shoulder which I love.
I’m popping on a basic pair of straight-leg jeans and am slipping into a pair of slides from Dingo. To add a little bit of texture to this look + break up the neutrals I’m adding a buckle belt.

When I saw this pretty little blouse on SheIn’s site I knew it was coming home with me. This is such a unique piece and unlike anything else I own. It’s got a pearly sheen to it and sleeves that bishop out beautifully. It has a unique hem, so I figured I’d keep things sleek and simple with a pair of skinny jeans and mules. This top isn’t restricting at all which is obviously ideal for a day full of eating!

Sometimes you just have to show everyone up—I envision doing so in a monochrome outfit and good pair of leather pants. There’s something so effortless about an outfit like this one. I’m starting in a Body Contour bodysuit from Express that seamlessly tucks into my bottoms.
These straight-leg leather pants are a recent SheIn find and surprisingly fit my waist beautifully. Unlike a lot of leather pants I’ve tried, they don’t suffocate my waist. You could dress this look down with a pair of platform sneakers or up with heels. I figured I’d go for a happy medium of black sock booties!

Throwing this outfit in there because it reminds me exactly of something my sister would choose for Thanksgiving. I style tons of flannels, shackets, and button-ups because there are just endless ways to wear them. However, I always come back to this combo right here.
Start in a solid-colored top, this can be a tank, long sleeve, or even a tee-shirt. Something fitted is best though.
For contrast and texture, throw something over top. This time around I’m using a leather shacket in a unique burnt orange. If you’re looking for an added layer, throw a sweater underneath and you’ll be good to go. Skip out on straight-leg jeans this time around—you’ve already got a structured, oversized vibe going on up top so skinny jeans are a key to completing this outfit.

A good fitted long sleeve sweater and slip-on sneakers are a must in every girl’s wardrobe. I’m mixing these fall essentials with a pair of overalls to add a trendy twist to the look. I’ve been on the hunt for black overalls for ages now and finally found the perfect pair. These aren’t too frumpy in the butt and are just the right amount of loose throughout the legs. I cannot wait to style these more and think Thanksgiving is the perfect time for them to make their debut!
