Weekly Wrap Up #48 2021

Well, it was quite an unexpected week—drove home to Maryland to reunite with my home + fam for the first time since August. It felt so good to be back. We ate old favorites, I saw a few friends, and we shot my six-year anniversary photos.

Mid-week our plans changed after the passing of a family member so we packed our bags + headed to New York to spend Thanksgiving surrounded by loved ones. Admittedly, it was a blessing to be all together. Trusting that God’s timing is perfect and that our sweet Landon has been reunited with his Gigi. Thank you so much for your continuous love and prayers this week!

Sunday, November 21

Spent the morning editing in bed before getting dressed for lunch with the fam. We went to The Green Turtle so Dad could watch the Packers play. Did a little bit of shopping at the outlets before curling up in bed to watch some tv + finish up today’s blog post.

Monday, November 22

Completed a few final school assignments this morning before spending the rest of the day with Madison. I got a few new pairs of shoes in the mail and spent the afternoon shooting a new Ugg campaign. The pictures turned out super cute. Off to the Manions to spend some time with Chase!

Tuesday, November 23

Woke up bright and early for my last class of the week then headed into Hair Razors for a spray tan. I grabbed lunch with my sweet friend Meg at The Music Cafe to catch up + hear all about her college applications. I can’t believe she is about to graduate! Came home and spent the evening prepping for tomorrow’s anniversary photoshoot.

Wednesday, November 24

Ran to Hair Razors this morning to get a blow out then back home to do my makeup + get ready for my big sixth-anniversary photoshoot. The real day isn’t until January 1 but with the holidays, travel plans, and all kinds of chaos within the next few weeks we figured it was best to knock the photos out now. Of course, GB came over to take my photos and we had the most beautiful backdrop set up. I’m not giving you any spoilers but here’s a sneak peek of it all!

Thursday, November 25

A change of Thanksgiving plans occurred when our sweet cousin Landon passed away yesterday of a rare cancer. He had a three-year-long fight but unfortunately, God called him home. We drove to New York this morning to be with our family during this time. It was our first Thanksgiving with this side of the fam and we had so much fun. It was the best reminder to hold our loved ones extra tight.

Friday, November 26

Nothing could stop this fam from getting some Black Friday shopping in. We ran to a few stores and picked up some new goodies. Then off to spend some visiting time with family + work on photo boards for Landon’s funeral next week. It was so good to be with everyone.

Saturday, November 27

Enjoying breakfast with the fam + cousins this morning at the cutest little diner. Madison and I said our goodbyes and then hopped on the road to head back to school—thankfully the weather cleared up for a few hours!
