Weekly Wrap Up #52 2021

And just like that we’ve made it to the last Weekly Wrap Up of the year… it’s hard to believe I’ve completed FIVE whole years of these posts. I’m so grateful to have so many memories + outfit phases captured on my little corner of the internet. In all honesty, I’ve really questioned keeping Weekly Wrap Ups around in 2022.

I will be changing locations so much, studying abroad for the last five months of the year, and am just not sure if I will be able to keep up with them the same way. Not to mention, I’ve always stuck to mirror photos and who knows if that will be possible wherever I end up. As I enter a season of uncertainty, I want you to know how grateful I am for you. This website, this second identity, this readership—they’ve been constants in my life when it feels like I have nothing else. Thank you for that. Thank you for giving me not only a place to express myself but a place to grow.

It’s a beautiful thing to have it all documented in one place. I’d love to hear your input as I navigate this new season of life + decide how to proceed in 2022. Until then, I hope you’re soaking up these last days of the year with friends and family, reflecting on all this year has given us!

Sunday, December 19

Starting our last day in Florida with breakfast in Venice. We strolled in and out of some cute shops + snapped some photos along the side streets. After a few hours, we packed up our suitcases and headed to the airport to catch our flight home. We had the best week in paradise and I truly cannot wait to be back!

Monday, December 20

First day back in town and off to the mall I went for a fun collab with Windsor! I grabbed some super cute pieces for the holiday season + helped Connor pick a gift for his mom. Spending the afternoon catching up on emails and some blog work that I missed while on vacation!

Tuesday, December 21

Spent the entire morning in bed editing my Florida vlog. It wasn’t until I had to pick Madison up from the airport that I finally got dressed and ready for the day. I’m loving this little two-piece sweater! She was in Utah skiing with a friend so my evening was spent hearing all about her trip.

Wednesday, December 22

After an early morning meeting, I was off to meet one of my sweet high school friends Kylie for coffee in town. We spent hours catching up with one another and it felt so good!

Thursday, December 23

After filming two YouTube videos, I decided today was the day I’d finally go through and purge my closet. I sold tons of pieces on my closet account @styledbyscloset2 and spent the entire afternoon packaging up orders to ship out! It feels so good to let go of so many pieces. The fam and I headed to Yardhouse for a fun dinner out—their Vampire tacos were delish!

Friday, December 24

Our Christmas Eve definitely looked a little different this year. Our grandparents usually come to town to spend the holiday with us but because of Covid, they stayed home again this year. Madison had to work and all-around things just felt a little less festive this year. We cozied up on the couch for most of the day watching movies, wrapping last-minute Christmas gifts, and eating our usual Christmas Eve dinner.

Saturday, December 25

Christmas Eve in the Morgan household started at 9 am in our matching PJs. We opened gifts, spent time with the fam, and ate tons of yummy food. Although mellow compared to most years, it was a day well spent!
