It’s that time of the year when I hit my mid-winter slump and all I want to do is curl up and bed, mindlessly scrolling on Tik Tok for hours on end. Unfortunately, my agenda has got all kinds of other things on it, meaning lounging in pajamas all day is out of the question.
Thankfully you don’t have to sacrifice style for comfort… today I’m putting together eight cozy loungewear looks that are perfect for this winter. And the best part? They’re still trendy so you can check everything off that to-do list while looking presentable!
Layering up is my jam these days as Ohio temperatures have barely been creeping into the teens. I always start off in a basic long sleeve top, then throw on a hoodie over top. This one is from Boohoo and is seriously one of the most worn pieces in my collection. I then layer on a puffer vest + a chunky scarf. This brings me all the nostalgia for my middle school days as that was my go-to uniform.
Speaking of, yoga pants are back and better than ever and my gosh am I grateful. Not only are they comfortable but they are seriously so flattering! I’m finishing this outfit off with my favorite platform sneakers from Steve Madden. I’ve been wearing these so much more than my Converse recently—go up a half size though as they do run small!

So I have to admit, while I am a huge fan of the yoga pant revival, and am a tried and true Aerie crossover girl, I had to give these wide-leg “sweats” a try. And let me tell you, I’m so glad I did. These pants are unlike anything else I own. They are a lightweight, cotton material and rather thin with no workout feel to them at all. They’ve got an elastic waistband, a little ruching along the butt, and they are wide the whole way down.
They are incredibly stylish and are a fun, easy way to look cute and comfy at the same time. Plus if you’re somewhere really chilly, you could easily layer legging underneath to double up. I’m popping on a pair of Chelsea boots and a leather jacket with a sherpa lining. I’d wear this on the NYC streets in a heartbeat.

A pop of pink can solve just about anything this time of year and with Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I feel drawn to this shade more and more these days. This quarter-zip from Boohoo is everything. It’s just the right amount of oversized + has a terry cloth lining making it perfect for layering.
I kept things basic in true 2022 girl fashion with yoga pants and a pair of white sneakers. However, the icing on the cake is truly the smiley face trucker hat. I love this thing and cannot stop wearing it!

Although rather basic, this is my most common outfit combo when reaching for loungewear. I stick with what I know: wearing a simple, cropped long-sleeve and choosing sneakers that match to keep things balanced. Of course, a pair of joggers in the opposing color and a three-piece purse to finish off the outfit. Pop on a knee-length coat for that added cool-girl effect and ~whala~.

There’s something about a good color-blocked moment in the dead of winter. I sure do love my neutrals but a bright pair of pink sweatpants like these are enough to make you get out of bed in the morning. These joggers were from Boohoo’s Offical line and they are so good. Double-lined with a thick, fleece interior that will keep you extra warm.
Up top, I’ve got on a simple white cami and a color-blocked hoodie. The hoodie is actually not Boohoo, but from SheIn and it’s one of my new favs. Size up one for a more oversized look. Of course, I’m wearing the same white sneaks as before.

Can’t go wrong with a matching sweatsuit. I love grabbing these because not only do they look adorable together but they can easily be mixed and matched too. This set is a cool-toned brown that’s super trendy this season. Slip into your mini Uggs for all the middle school nostalgia. Don’t forget a puffer coat + chunky scarf for that added warmth for your morning commute.
For this loungewear look, I’m mixing a little bit of color with the basics. I’m starting off in a simple pair of black joggers with a black cropped hoodie to pair. I’m constantly reaching for these pieces, whether they’re worn together or separately. However, to spice things up I’m throwing on a bright green puffer. I just got this in the mail last week and have already worn it a ton. It adds so much to every outfit + matches my new favorite Steve Madden sneakers to a tee!

And while I sure do love wearing my loungewear out, somedays you just have to cozy up in an oversized sweatsuit and work from home. I’m wearing this exact outfit as I type this from my couch and man does it feel good, lol. I got this “self-love club” set in green last summer and wore it so much that I had to grab the pink as well.
Not only do I love the sweet sentiment but this set is just the right amount of oversized. Wearing my favorite slippers from Koolaburra by Ugg. These are fuzzy on the inside and the outside making them extra warm. I wear them nonstop around our apartment.

I know I’ve got plenty of cute dresses and fun tops in my closet but most days I find myself reaching for something comfy like these fits. I’m sure most of you are too as you work/do school from the comfort of your home. With that being said, if you want to see a part 2 to this post, let me know and I’ll get right to work on that.
