Styling My Top Three Most Worn Jeans

I’ve been getting dozens of questions about my favorite jeans and with Express currently running a buy one get one 50% off sale, I decided now was the perfect time to sit down and round them up. I’ve been wearing a few different styles as of recently and have been scoring all kinds of compliments.

Right now I’m loving the straight leg styles as they work so well for class but seamlessly transition into a night-out fit. Plus, with winter boots being worn left and right, these are the easiest thing to pair them with. Of course, I included a little styling inspo for you too!

High Waisted Black Ripped 90s Bootcut Jeans

A few months ago I stumbled across these Express jeans. I loved the way they fit the model but was hesitant to pick them up as they were called “bootcut”. I don’t know about you but I haven’t worn a pair of bootcut jeans since I was in the fifth grade. However, I reluctantly gave them a try and I’m so glad I did.

The reality is these jeans fit no different than your typical straight-leg pair from them. They’ve got a little wiggle room around the ankles which makes styling high-top sneakers and boots so much easier. I’ve been wearing these “Winston” sneakers from Steve Madden so much recently. The platform Converse are impossible to find in stock anywhere so these are a great alternative—I recommend going up half a size.

I wear these jeans with just about everything, whether it be going to class or out to a party. Lately, a basic long sleeve bodysuit and a cute puffer are all I need. I’m obsessed with pops of green right now. To complete the outfit, I’m layering on tons of gold jewels and calling it a day.

Super High Waisted Ripped Raw Hem Modern Straight Jeans

If you’ve been keeping up with my Weekly Wrap Ups then I’m sure these jeans look familiar. I’ve been wearing these at least twice a week, which for me is unheard of. I usually stray away from straight leg styles as I feel like they swallow my body and flatten my tush.

Although, these hug my butt perfectly and are just the right size around the waist. For reference, I have a 25-inch waist and wear a 00 regular in Express denim. These are a super comfortable denim with just enough structure to them. I especially love that these have a raw hem. I love the way these black Petal and Pup boots look with them. They are just the right height and have a slightly square toe.

I’ve been wearing chunky sweaters all month long as temperatures have barely crept above freezing these days. I just got this one from SheIn and it’s the perfect amount of oversized. I layered on my favorite leather shacket to tie in with the boots and am using a crossbody bag to give me some shape up top.

I also have this straight-leg style from Express. These too are high waisted but they are a little more structured with a denim that isn’t as soft as the others. Nonetheless, I still love them! I’m usually one to gravitate towards raw hems but these are perfect for a more polished vibe. I also wear them cuffed with low-top sneakers from time to time.

I can’t stay away from the cropped tops even in the dead of winter. This adorable cable knit sweater effortlessly pairs with the bottoms in my collection. Of course, I had to throw on a scarf. These have been my favorite way to layer recently + they make it so easy to add some “color” to your wardrobe.

This time around, I went for a sandy neutral to match my boots. These are the “Hutch” from Steve Madden and they are truly my most versatile shoe. I wear these non-stop as they go with everything and are so easy to dress up or down. Bonus points for being super comfortable too!
