Two years ago to the week I posted my first ever SheIn bikini try-on haul to YouTube. It went viral, causing a domino effect across my platforms, contributing to much of their success. Over the years I’ve become well known for my consistent reviews and honest thoughts on their swimwear.
With spring break around the corner and a warm weather trip on the calendar, it only seemed right to bring back my first try-on of the season. Today I’m reviewing thirty different suits each under $15.
Similar to last year, I’ve decided to dedicate a whole blog post to the swimsuits in addition to the video. This way you can see each swimsuit on + have a place to refer back to for links, sizing information, and all that jazz.
Talking through all of the suits pictured below in this video. Not only am I discussing sizing, fit, and prices but I’m trying each suit on so you can see how they fit. Be sure to give this video a big thumbs up if you enjoyed it so I know to do more of these in the future.
The number one question I get regarding SheIn swimwear is sizing. For those of you wondering I am wearing the smallest size available in each of the suits. That means if they offer an XS, I am wearing an XS. If the smallest size offered in that suit is a Small then I am wearing a Small.
Want to find a swimsuit that fits you best? Here’s how to do so successfully.
I’m trying my best to share a wide variety of styles with you. I’ve got every style you could imagine—bustier, string, cheeky, you name it! After this big batch, I’ll move into three-piece sets (a sarong included) and one-pieces.
This suit is from the SheIn Basics collection and is one of my favorites. It runs a little tiny so although I’m in an XS I would go up to the Small if I were to purchase again. It’s got a super basic fit, similar to your average bra and underwear with an underwire top and hipster-like bottoms.
Prepare for string bikini overload in this try-on haul. I’ve got so many of them as they have been my favorite style as of recently. These tops tie along the neck and around the bust, allowing you to have some major cleavage and a basic tan line. The bottoms are rather skimpy with tie-sides and a cheeky booty. I love the texture of this suit!
If you’ve been keeping up with my platforms for some time now, then you’d know how much I love this ring-style suit. I have this in a gazillion colors but I had to get my hands on the neon. A suit like this is perfect for your last day of vacay to make that spring break tan pop even more.
You can’t go wrong with a string bikini, especially when it’s smocked. I love the fun element this texture adds + this bright color palette is everything. My favorite thing about these tops is that the cups slide along the lower string so you can adjust according to how much cleavage you want! This is ideal for a full beach day of tanning and swimming.
If you’re a bustier gal, you’re gonna love this suit. It’s got a bra-like top with tons of push up, and thick, structured cups that will keep your boobs in place all day. The bottoms are an interesting height—not quite low rise but definitely not high waisted. Truthfully, I didn’t think they were the most flattering cut on me.
I wanted to love this bright orange swimmy as I think it’d be perfect for my trip to Cabo. Unfortunately, the top is a little too flimsy for my liking. I didn’t feel very secure in this and knew if I wore it in the water it’d be sliding right off of me. I did, however, love the fit of these bottoms. That gold rectangle detail is adorable!
Something about this tiger print just screams spring break in Mexico! I cannot wait to style this bad boy with a pair of beach pants and a big ole floppy hat. This top has the cutest ruffle straps and an amazing whicker ring along the center. Too cute!
Me and another smocked string bikini…. whose shocked by this duo?!
I absolutely love the color of this swimmie. I’m all for a bright green. Not to mention the fit of this is so very flattering thanks to the high-cut bottoms that elongate the legs. However, the quality of this one was lacking with a white mesh interior that rolls along the seams.
You’ve seen several of these tops already and there are several more still coming. These are so great regardless of your cup size—they provide lots of support and are very comfortable for a day full of swimming. Although these bottoms are a little skimpier along the sides, they are actually on the fuller coverage end in the booty. I loved this bright gingham print!
This blue and white paisley print bikini has the same style top as the last. Although the bottoms have a unique cut to them. These cut super close in, leaving a lot of the hips on display. This really elongates the legs and slims the torso down.
How adorable is this strapless suit?! The large ruffle along the top is so fun and would be perfect for a bachelorette weekend or day on a boat. I recommend sizing down as I prefer tube tops to fit a little more snug to keep them from sliding around.
This fun floral top actually came with two pairs of bottoms. One is a cheeky string style that matches, and the other is these solid yellow ones. These have a low-rise, cheeky fit to them that’s super flattering in the tush.
I can’t lie, this chocolate brown suit was easily one of my favorites of this haul. This has an adorable, underwire top that self-ties around the back. Along with v-cut bottoms that elongate the legs and slim the torso big time. The cut is similar to my Aerie crossover leggings… and you know how much I love those!
I have this suit in black and thought that it was the perfect basic bikini so I grabbed it in the white as well. It’s a thick, textured material that isn’t see-through at all. If you’ve got a fun cover-up you’re looking to style, I highly recommend something simple like this.
This lilac suit was too cute not to grab. It’s got a standard fit with those high-cut bottoms you know I love. The top is super simple too. The perfect cut if you’re looking to alternate between tanning and swimming.
One more smocked bikini for good measure! I love this light blue and truly could not feel more confident in this suit.
I saw this suit and was instantly drawn to the bottoms. I tend to stick to the same few styles, never trying this asymmetrical cut. I figured I’d give these a go and was pleasantly surprised. This fun marble pattern is adorable!
Three-piece sets are all the rage right now. The following suits come with a matching sarong/beach skirt to tie around your waist. This is such an easy way to cover up + they look adorable when taking photos by the water. I didn’t photograph all of the skirts but they each come with one.
I loved this suit so much that I grabbed it in two different colorways. Honestly, this is my ideal bathing suit. I love a good triangle top but string bottoms just aren’t my favorite. I much prefer something with a solid band like these—that way you don’t run the risk of them flying off. These sit high on the hips and were just the right amount of cheeky. Of course, the matching sarong adds brownie points too!
Although this was just your standard string bikini, the colorway was too cute to resist! Plus, I loved the matching beach skirt that came with it. This is actually swimsuit material as well so you can leave this on in the water if you prefer to keep covered up. Sinch the sides to shorten this as much as you’d like,
I sure do love a chocolate brown moment. This suit had the most adorable stitching along the top. Plus, this triangle style is amazing if you’re looking to be active in the water—with no clasps or self-ties there’s no chance of this flying off. It’s got hipster-like bottoms and a sarong to match!
Who doesn’t love a good ole summer color palette? I couldn’t resist this one. The bottoms run a little snug in the tush so definitely go up a size. The matching skirt to this suit is mesh and is *sadly* meant for pictures, not swimming.
As you know by now, everything about this style I just love. This too came with a mesh skirt to toss on over top. If you’re looking for a family-friendly style, this is your suit!
Mixing and matching all of my favorites here. This one runs tight in the bottoms so size up. The beach skirt to this is waterproof and oh so cute.
I love a barn red moment to make the tan pop. This suit has a classic fit to it, making your boobs look amazing. It also came with a matching tie-front top and sarong to toss over your suit. This is perfect if you’re grabbing a quick bite to eat, snapping a photo, or even looking to keep out of the sun.
I usually have a big chunk of high-wasited suits to share but today I just have one. Sharing it alongside a couple of fun one-pieces I also grabbed. I loved these fuller coverage, more family-friendly styles and will be sure to include more in my next try-on haul if that’s something you’d be interested in.
You know me and my love for yellow come summertime. This gingham reminded me of a mid-day picnic. The bottoms come right up to my belly button and have an adorable “belt” that helps sinch the waist. I couldn’t love this combo more!
If you’re looking for a good ole black one-piece, look no further. This was just the right length on me, despite having a shorter torso. It’s got a little bit of underwire throughout the cups providing a lot of support and is full coverage in the back, making it a very family-friendly option.
I tried my first long sleeve swimsuit when I was in Hawaii last month and I loved it! This style reminds me of a wetsuit, keeping you a little warmer and protecting more of your skin from the sun. If you’re looking to be active in the water—surf, paddleboard, kayak, etc this would be the perfect suit for the occasion!
