3 Pairs of Straight Leg Jeans I’m Currently Loving

If you know you know—I’ve been wearing Express jeans for years now and truly have yet to find a retailer that fits me better. I’ve gone through a few phases with them, loving on their skinny jeans and their cropped flares. However, recently I’ve been obsessed with their straight-leg jeans. I don’t know what took me so long to hop on this bandwagon but something about these are just perfect for everyday wear.

They effortlessly transition from day to night and can be worn with practically every shoes from sneakers to boots to heels. For sizing reference, I’m about 5’2 with a 25 inch waist and wear a 00 regular in their denim. Today I’m styling my three latest pairs with a few fun outfit ideas!

Super High Waisted Black Ripped Modern Straight Jeans

Every girl needs a good ole pair of black jeans. I have a pair from Express that are their 90s bootcut style but wanted to switch things up and grab a pair of true straight legs. I love wearing black denim for nights out but frequently find myself reaching for them on school days too.

I’m keeping things casual here with a long sleeve crop top, a pair of high-top sneakers, and a fun trucker hat to match. This one says “Take It Easy” across the front and is super cute for a messy hair day. Pop on a three-piece bag to accentuate the figure and you’re good to go.

Super High Waisted Medium Wash Ripped Modern Straight Jeans

These are actually the same style jeans as the last pair just in a medium wash as opposed to the black. I’m usually more of a light wash girl, therefore these were a fun step out of my comfort zone. While these would also be perfect for class/my typical day-to-day, I thought I’d dress them up a bit for a night out.

I just grabbed this new long sleeve top from Oh Polly and it is the cutest thing! A square neck long sleeve that can be dressed up or down for truly any occasion. I wore this out last weekend and scored tons of compliments. I’m giving myself a little bit of height with my favorite black sock booties. These are so comfortable for a night out. Add a simple purse to match and you’re good to go. So basic yet so cute!

Super High Waisted Light Wash Modern Straight Jeans

I made myself custom Converse a few weeks ago and have been dying to finally style them. I made them a creamy white with a pink tongue/interior. Of course, they say “styledby” along the back and are the perfect personalized merch for me to wear. I figured these straight-leg jeans would be perfect with them. These have the exact same fit as the last two pairs, just with a finished seam instead of a raw one.

Because these jeans are full length, I gave them two cuffs to show off the kicks a little better. I’m keeping things simple up top, with just a basic tee in the matching pink. Of course, I’m layering on my go-to gold jewels. This is the perfect outfit for running around campus as temperatures start to creep up into true “spring”.
