Weekly Wrap Up #12 2022 College Week In My Life + Outfits Of The Week
After several hectic weeks of sorority events, school projects, and so much more I could not be more excited to be in California right now enjoying my spring break. I’m doubling up my break with my March content trip and flew to see Sam and Jules. We’ve spent the last few days exploring Laguna and are off to Cabo tomorrow.
I can hardly wait as it will be my first time using my passport! I have a couple of blog posts set to go live while I’m gone; however, you can keep up with my day-to-day via Instagram @styledbymckenz. I’ll be sharing all kinds of outfits, travels, and good eats. Stay tuned!

Sunday, March 20
Off to 9 o’clock church this morning followed by brunch at The River Merchant. Came home changed into comfy clothes and started purging my closet + rearranging the dozens of boxes that have suddenly piled up. I spent the afternoon working on blog tasks, folding laundry, and resetting for the busy week ahead. Of course, I had Ally over for dinner and spent the evening catching up on the couch.

Monday, March 21
Starting the morning off with a much-needed walk along the river with my sweet friend Lauren. It was the best start to my busy Monday—uploaded a YouTube video, blog post, and submitted all kinds of branded content. It was nice and sunny out today so I headed out with my tripod and shot six different looks downtown before filming a few different Tik Toks. Grabbed Dairy Queen with the roomies for free cone day and then went on a fun little date to finish off the day.

Tuesday, March 22
Off to the fashion school bright and early this morning for my textiles class. I sat in the lobby for a few hours busting out assignments before spring break. My sweet little Logan came over for dinner and we spent hours catching up—it feels like so much happens in just a few days apart. Then doing a little packing!

Wednesday, March 23
Off to the gym then to the nail salon to prep for my trip. I spent the entire afternoon planning outfits, packing luggage, and checking last-minute things off of my to-do list. Off to the airport and sadly sitting there for much longer than intended due to a nasty flight cancellation. After almost twelve hours finally made it to California to begin my spring break fun! Phew!

Thursday, March 24
Spending my first day in California shooting content around Beverly Hills. We changed outfits a gazillion times and grabbed the cutest photos. I always love the spurt of creative energy I feel being back here.

Friday, March 25
Up and at em early this morning for a short drive to Laguna. We checked into the Laguna Beach Lodge for a mini weekend getaway by the water. We shot some fun photos, explored a little, and went to the most amazing restaurant for dinner, The Comedor. Oh, and my sweet Devon came up to spend the day with us which was such a treat.

Saturday, March 26
Had an amazing beach picnic this morning followed by waterfront brunch. The views at this restaurant were as good as the food. We did some window shopping and explored Forest Ave before heading to dinner. Needless to say, we’ve done a lot of eating this trip. No complaints here, it’s been amazing!
