It’s that time again… swimsuit season is right around the corner which means it’s time to bring back the try-on hauls for ya! In addition to my monthly SheIn swim hauls, I’m also bringing a new series to my YouTube channel where each week I review a different sustainable, small swimwear business. I’ve shared some suits from Kotomi and Kaiso Swim so far and have a few more on the way! If there’s a specific brand you’re interested in seeing let me know and I’ll be sure to add it to my growing list!
In the meantime, I’m going to be sharing 20 SheIn bikinis under $20. As per usual you’ll get to see each swimsuit on + have a place to refer back to for links, sizing information, and all that jazz. Enjoy!
Talking through all of the suits pictured below in this video. Not only am I discussing sizing, fit, and prices but I’m trying each suit on so you can see how they fit. Be sure to give this video a big thumbs up if you enjoyed it so I know to do more of these in the future.
The number one question I get regarding SheIn swimwear is sizing. For those of you wondering I am wearing the smallest size available in each of the suits. That means if they offer an XS, I am wearing an XS. If the smallest size offered in that suit is a Small then I am wearing a Small.
Want to find a swimsuit that fits you best? Here’s how to do so successfully.
I’m a huge bikini lover as I know many of you are! I’m doing my best to share every kind of style with you—string, bustier, cheeky, you name it. While most were hits, I did have a few duds this time around so I’m giving you a heads up on which ones to avoid.
I have this smocked bikini in neon orange and loved it so much that I picked it up in the pink too! It’s got a very standard fit to it with a triangle, string-style top. These cups move along the lower band so you can sinch the cups giving yourself a little more cleavage. This self-ties along the neck, the back, and the bottoms. They are on the cheekier side and sit high up on the hips, elongating the legs. This is a great suit for all body shapes/sizes.
Here I am with another string bikini. (And I can promise it won’t be the last!) This is one of my favorite styles for tanning. This suit has the cutest pink and green floral. It’s a ribbed material so much softer to the touch than the last. The bottoms are a little skimpier along the front.
This suit is almost identical to the first one I shared in fit and material! Just switching it up with a pattern this time around.
I used to hate bottoms like these but lately, they’ve been my favorite. There’s something about this thin strap that sits high up on the hips that’s so crazy flattering. These give me all the curves and have moderate coverage in the back. The top is just a classic bandeau with no self-ties or straps so there’s no chance of this falling off!
I feel like I’m always wearing the same style of tops so I wanted to switch things up with this one-shoulder ruffled bikini. It has a bit of wiring along the center so this is perfect if you need a little extra support up top. These bottoms are full coverage in the back and are more of a mid-rise. I’m not a huge fan of how these hit me.
Back in the quarantine days, this was my go-to style bikini. They are awesome if you have a smaller chest as the underwire gives you a little bit of lift. However, the fabric along the cups isn’t super tall so bustier gals run the risk of a nip slip. This is my ideal type of suit to tan in as the lines are minimal.
Same style suit as the last—however, this one is your regular swimsuit material whereas the last was ribbed! These bottoms are some of my favorites. They sit high up on the hips slimming the waist and elongating the legs.
Calling all busty gals, this is the suit for you. This triangle top has cups that are stitched into place so they don’t run the risk of moving around while you swim. They are a super wide fabric so you’ve got a bit more coverage too. The bottoms are just your standard style with a cute ring along the hips to add a fun detail.
Although skimpy, this has to be one of the most flattering suits I own. This top is just so cute with the tie-front detail and these bottoms hit me at the perfect spot. I love the pattern too!
This waffle-like material is super popular across SheIn’s site this season. This top can be worn several different ways. While I do love it strapless, it can also be tied around the neck. This isn’t the most practical top but it makes for the cutest photos. Bottoms are the same as you’ve been seeing!
I wanted to love this suit, I really did. I love the colors and the print but the quality of this one was no bueno. The stitching along the straps was all messed up, causing this to fit my chest very poorly. I did, however, love the bottoms as they have that ruched side that’s so fun!
Three-piece kinis are my favorite! There’s nothing better than a mini sarong to tie around the waist for photos. This top is my all-time favorite. This underwire style gives you a little lift and a whole lot of support. These tops are so functional—perfect for tanning and swimming!
This fruit print swimsuit has the same type of top! The bottoms are my go-to as well. These have cheekier coverage along the back yet aren’t too skimpy along the front. The perfect family-friendly option!
This suit is another one where the top can be worn strapless or tied around the neck. I love the versatility as it gives you two suits for the price of one. These bottoms have lots of coverage all around with the sweetest tie detail along the sides.
I grabbed this bikini as I’ve been getting lots of requests for bride-to-be/bachelorette parties. I had high hopes for this one but sadly, as cute as it is, the quality sucks. The white is poorly lined and these ribbon straps feel like they could snap at any moment.
I know a lot of you are high-rise lovers. I don’t love them as much but I do have a handful of styles to share with you today! These are typically a bit fuller in coverage and are safe bets for a family function.
This is truly one of the most flattering high-waisted suits I’ve ever put on my body. There’s something about these bottoms that just do it for me. They hit just around the belly button and are super high cut along the sides making my legs look miles long. As for the top, we’ve got a typical underwire style that gives you all kinds of support. I love the thicker straps on this!
These bottoms fit very similarly to the last. I’m a sucker for the pink and yellow mixed together. This top was a little different than the rest. It’s triangle style with cups stitched into place, however, it has a clasp along the back and self-ties along the neck. This one runs a little small so if you’re bustier, I’d say size up!
I’ve got this suit in a gazillion colors at this point and it’s one of the best. Especially if you’re looking for one that can be worn for all kinds of water activities. It’s the perfect “active” suit since there are no self-ties or clasps. No chance of this bad boy falling off!
I wasn’t a huge fan of this one. It felt a bit cheaper in quality and it ran rather large so it didn’t hug my figure the way I’d hoped. However, if you’re looking for something very full coverage + family-friendly, this is definitely the suit for you.
As I mentioned earlier, each one of these suits is under $15 for the top and bottom. That is such a steal already but you can grab an additional 15% off your entire SheIn purchase when you use my code Q4mckenz15 at checkout. SheIn has hundreds of other styles available so if you weren’t sold on one of these suits, you can browse through more by clicking here.
Well, that’s a wrap for today’s batch of bikinis. I’ll be back with more sometime next month. In the meantime, make sure you’re checking out my YouTube channel for new try-on hauls every single week. I hope this gave you some swim inspo for the summer; happy shopping!
With love, McKenz
