Summer is here so you know what that means… so is swimsuit season! I’ve been rounding up bikinis on my YouTube channel for several months now in preparation for summer and now that I’m here in California I’m finally getting to put them all to the test. It’s the best thing being so close to the beach!
This year I’ve also brought a new series to my channel where I review swimwear from sustainable, small businesses! If you’re interested in scouring those videos, click here.
In the meantime, today I’m sharing 25 swimsuits under $15 from everyone’s favorite retailer SheIn. I wanted to give you a one-stop-shop where I talk about sizing, share a coupon code, and walk you through which styles flatter which body shapes!
Talking through all of the suits pictured below in this video. Not only am I discussing sizing, fit, and prices but I’m trying each suit on so you can see how they fit. Be sure to hit that subscribe button so you don’t miss out on next month’s SheIn bikini haul.
The number one question I get regarding SheIn swimwear is sizing. For those of you wondering I am wearing the smallest size available in each of the suits. That means if they offer an XS, I am wearing an XS. If the smallest size offered in that suit is a Small then I am wearing a Small.
Want to find a swimsuit that fits you best? Here’s how to do so successfully.
So many of you have been looking for high-waisted suits so I rounded up a ton of them for today’s posts. We’ve got mostly family-friendly options with the exception of a few bustier + cheekier options. All are great if you’re looking for something to be active in the water in!
I am a sucker for these bustier-style tops. They have a bit of underwire throughout which gives you a little lift and a lot of support. As for the bottoms, these are a high-waisted style that’s full coverage in the front and the back. Perfect for a family-friendly beach day.
While this suit is super cute it wasn’t my favorite as far as fit goes. It definitely runs large in both the top and bottoms so if you’re interested in purchasing go down a size. The top and bottom are both full in coverage with no self-ties or clasps!
You just can’t go wrong with a triangle-style top. This one has adjustable straps with cups that are stitched in place, meaning there is no chance of this suit shifting around. The bottoms are high-cut along the sides meaning they show off that low-rise tan line and really elongate the legs. This is my favorite style suit as it’s so flattering!
This was another suit that ran large all around so size down! The top has that underwire band that’s super great if you are a bustier gal. These cups are super wide too meaning you’ve got no boob spillage in this. Bottoms are very full in coverage around the front if you’re looking for something to tuck your tummy.
I couldn’t love this neon suit more. It has a velvet-like texture to it that is super soft. I love a good strapless top and this ring around the center is one of my favorite details. The bottoms have an asymmetric waist with a ring detail that is crazy flattering. I’m obsessed!
This suit is very similar to the floral one I just shared and was easily one of my favorites of the bunch. This color looks so effortless and is available in several different colors! A great suit to wear around the fam and while being active in the water as there is no chance of this moving around.
Although this top looks similar to the last, it actually self-ties along the back so it’s a little roomier. I love the color blocking—so on trend this season!
For some reason, a lot of these high-waisted styles ran a little large on me. I’ve tried several suits of this style in the past but this one just wasn’t my favorite. It had a cheaper feel to it and I’m not a huge fan of this texture.
Mid-rise suits have those bottoms that dance between the high and low-rise line. They sit just under the belly button, covering most of your mid-drift. If that’s an area you struggle with, this can be a great way to get a little extra coverage. They are personally my least favorite style as I feel they make my short torso look even smaller, but I know many of you love them.
How adorable is this color-blocked style?! Loving the mix of peach and coral. This top is a bit lower than some of the others giving you quite a bit of cleavage. It has a self-tie along the neck too which allows you to adjust the size of this a bit. Bottoms are full in coverage in both the front and the back.
This bustier top is so fun because it has removable straps. You can leave them off while you tan and put them on when you go in the water so your top stays in place. As for the bottoms, these have a high-cut fit that helps elongate the legs!
Calling all bride to bes, this white ruffle suit is for you! I’m a sucker for this strapless style and love the eyelet detail throughout. These bottoms are a bit taller than your average, making them sit right below the belly button. Perfect if you’re looking for a little extra coverage in the tummy area.
I love a self-tying bikini to spice things up. This one ties along the shoulders and in the front so you have a little bit of cleavage. Bottoms have a very standard fit to them!
Although these bottoms are almost identical to the last, the top is much different! With a plunging neckline and no self-ties, clasps, or adjustable straps this is a suit that should stay in place the entire day.
I’m all for a good “standard” bikini bottom. Especially when the bottoms are a higher cut, elongating the legs and slimming the torso. I find these to be the most flattering on my body shape and love the practicality of the tan line they leave. I’ve got lots of options with many leaning towards the family-friendly side of booty coverage.
I’m a big fan of anything with underwire in it as these tops give you a bit more support than your typical bikini. These have thin adjustable straps which give you a super simple tan line which I appreciate. These bottoms have a low-rise fit and can be pulled up a little higher on the hips to help lengthen the legs.
Same style top as the last suit. I love this smocked detail! These bottoms have an adorable tie along the side to switch things up.
This was the skimpiest of the suits with bottoms minimal in coverage along the back and a smaller strap along the sides. This top has a cute ring detail along the front with no clasps along the back. This small detail adds so much to a suit—I’m obsessed. These patchwork stitches are so fun too!
Triangle suits are my jam. I’ve been wearing this style nonstop recently as the self-ties are so flattering along the bust. Plus, these are a little more size-inclusive with straps you can tie accordingly!
Another triangle style top but this time around the bottoms fit just like your typical bikini underwear. They’ve got no self-ties, and a thicker band along the side giving you the perfect amount of coverage. I love the texture of this one too!
How fun is this two-toned suit?! I actually wore this one when I was in San Diego yesterday. This top has removable straps so it can be worn strapless too! The bottoms have that same fit and really slim the torso while elongating the legs. They’ve got a moderate coverage around back!
Two thumbs up for all of these bustier-style tops. I love the way my boobs sit in these and while they look super flattering, I find they are the best suits to wear while swimming too as everything stays right where it’s supposed to be. As for the bottoms, these sit higher up on the hips making the legs look miles long! I felt so confident in this—one of my favorites for sure!
This suit is almost identical to the last one. I just love the net-like texture this one has! So different, so fun.
Few suits from SheIn are as poor quality as this one. These bottoms were super thin and only single lined. And the top was poorly stitched causing the white lining to peek out. Not a fan!
I’ve usually got tons of one-pieces lined up but only one caught my eye this month…
I don’t find one-pieces to be super practical but this plunging, tie-waist one-piece was too cute to resist. I love everything about this—the pale green, the fun texture, and the flattering neckline. Not the most family-friendly by any means, but definitely a sexy suit!
As I mentioned earlier, each one of these suits is under $15 for the top and bottom. That is such a steal already but you can grab an additional 15% off your entire SheIn purchase when you use my code Q4mckenz15 at checkout. SheIn has hundreds of other styles available so if you weren’t sold on one of these suits, you can browse through more by clicking here.
Well, that’s a wrap for this month’s batch of bathing suits! I’ll be back with more sometime next month. In the meantime, make sure you’re checking out my YouTube channel for new try-on hauls every single week. I hope this gave you some swim inspo for summertime; happy shopping!
With love, McKenz
