Sorority recruitment is right around the corner for most colleges which means the question of the hour has risen—“what the heck am I supposed to wear?!”. Not to worry, I’ve got you covered and am sharing thirty outfit ideas over the course of this week.
Yesterday I shared 10 outfit ideas for Open House round and today I’m sharing 10 for Sisterhood. At Kent State, we do not have a Philanthropy round; however, if your school does it typically follows the same outfit guidelines as Sisterhood.
Please keep in mind that every school’s dress code is a little different so what works for me, may need to be modified to work for you! If you go to Kent State the suggested outfit guidelines for this round are: sundresses, two-piece sets, jumpsuits, rompers, baby block heels, and midi skirts.
If you know me, then you know how much I love monochrome outfits! They are incredibly easy to style and always leave me feeling like a badass! This kelly green is the color of the season so you’re sure to look trendy while wearing this cutie set. I’m switching things up, going for a little bit of color blocking with a pale pink heel and a purse to match!

Ease into the dressiness by wearing a midi or maxi skirt. These are perfect for sisterhood round, especially if you have more than one day. I just scored this hot pink satin skirt and it is the cutest. It runs a little big in circumference so if you’re in between sizes, I would definitely suggest going down. I made the most of it being a little looser, having it sit low rise with a cute cropped tank.
While there will still be plenty of girls wearing flat sandals and sneakers during these rounds, there will be even more who are wearing heels! The outfits are meant to get a bit dressier each round.

I’m a sucker for yellow—not only does it make such a statement but it’s such a bright, happy color. I wore yellow during my recruitment and everyone remembered me as “the yellow girl”. Standing out in that way is a good thing, especially during Sisterhood when you’re hoping to get called back for Preference round.
This midi has the cutest neckline. I’m slipping it on with my go-to Dolce Vita Paily heels. These are some of the most comfortable shoes in my collection. I cannot say enough good things!

I picked up this dress to wear with sneakers during my study abroad experience in Europe but thought that with a pair of pink heels and a purse to match, this would be perfect for sorority recruitment too. It really does have the cutest fit to it. A flouncy babydoll style never fails!

I just love this halter style right now if you couldn’t tell. This backless dress was sent to me by Vici Dolls earlier this summer and I’ve yet to find a time to wear it. Doesn’t it look adorable here?! With chunky heels and a crossbody to match you look just a tad overdressed in the best way possible.

Something about this little two-piece set I just loved. I know pleats aren’t everybody’s thing but I think they are done so tastefully here, with small folds and an adorable silhouette. The best part is, you can easily mix and match this skirt, creating several different outfits for the price of one. Keeping the shoes comfy this time around with just a simple pair of white sandals.

How fricking fun is this pink pantsuit?! I was instantly drawn to this set thanks to its bright pink hue. It screams Barbie! These pants run long so I’m picking them off the ground with a pair of heels! I know some schools won’t let you do spaghetti straps during recruitment; if that’s the case for you, I’d suggest tossing on a cardigan or linen button-up!

Who doesn’t love a gingham mini dress?! This one is so sweet. It comes in a few different colors but the green was by far my favorite. With the little wrap skirt, this is just adorable. Add strappy white sandals and a mini purse to match.
You want to make sure you have a purse of some sort during these rounds—you’re definitely going to want a place to keep your phone, ID, and wallet that is out of sight.

Nothing screams “remember me” quite like a big ole bow across your chest. I just can’t get over how cute this set is. If I were going through recruitment again, I would 100% be wearing something just like this. The skirt runs short so if you’re on the taller side, I’d have to say skip out on this one. This look speaks for itself so just a simple heel will do!

Another pink set…. what has gotten into me?! I find sets to be some of the easiest outfits to wear during these rounds. Not only are they super comfortable, but they are so easy to style. I layered on gold jewels and tossed on a pair of sandals to complete the look. So fun!
