WOW! What a week it was. When I tell you I’ve been on the go, I really mean it. I consider myself a pretty seasoned traveler at this point and yet nothing could have prepared me for this constant unpacking and repacking. It’s exhausting but my gosh is it exhilarating—I can’t help but feel so grateful for this study abroad semester and time to explore new parts of the world as well as myself.
Wrapping up a full week of class and then heading to Paris Thursday morning to visit my California roommate Jules. She showed me all around the city and we had a blast. Sharing a few moments from that trip with you today but as always, I’ll give you the full scoop in my travel + outfit guides coming later this week. Stay tuned!
Apologies for not getting this up on Monday. I’ve been resting + recovering from all the chaos while also preparing for this weekend’s trip to Mykonos. Yes, I swear I go to school too, lol! Talk soon.
With love, McKenz
What to Wear to The Amalfi Coast, Italy || How To Do It ALL in 3 Days || Amalfi Coast Travel Guide
The college week in my life’s are still coming strong! Here’s a peek into this week.
Sunday, September 25
The last day of our Amalfi Coast trip we went to Pompeii. Unfortunately, the weather did not hold out for us so we spent the day exploring in the midst of pouring rain. It was still so cool to see and we were able to escape to a yummy restaurant for some amazing pesto pizza. We then hopped on the bus for a long travel afternoon back to Florence.

Mondays are the new Sundays and have truly become my get shit done day. In between a full day of classes and my first Italian test I did my laundry, grabbed groceries for the week, and tidied up the apartment. Catching up on my styledby work just in time to go to our favorite little Mexican place for a frozen marg. So much fun at Tijuana!

Just two classes today followed by a busy afternoon of blog posts and video editing. The girls and I got dressed and headed out to a cute restaurant for $10 endless pasta and bottomless wine. We ended up having a little Ladies Night moment and went over to Lions per usual. Always a fun night together!

Running around like a chicken with my head cut off before my flight to Paris. In between classes I was doing all the things—gathering flight info, packing my suitcase, getting euros out, etc. Getting the hang of this constant on-the-go lifestyle!

My blogging bestie Jules is living in Paris for the remainder of the year so naturally, this week’s trip was to go visit her! I hopped on a plane alone and was at her apartment by 10:00 am. We had the whole day to explore Montmartre, popping in and out of local cafes and strolling the city streets.
I had my first Paris Fashion Week event this evening with the LTK France team. We had drinks, got to see a designer’s new sunglass collection, and did a lot of networking. It was a blast + I’m so grateful Styledby has led me to opportunities like this one. 14-year-old me would be so proud!

Friday, September 30
Jules and I set out bright and early this morning, heading over to Trocadero so I could see the Eiffel Tower for the first time! It was so special. We got brunch at the cutest spot, then hiked up the Eiffel Tower! We finished our day on a sunset dinner cruise which was truly a once-in-a-lifetime kind of experience. We enjoyed a five-course meal while watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle and listening to Sinatra play on the piano. One of my favorite evenings of study abroad!

Saturday, October 1
Playing tourist today hitting all the spots—the Lourve, then Palais Royal, then a cheese and wine tasting! We grabbed dinner at a local cafe, took tons of photos, and then headed over to the greens to watch the Eiffel Tower light up pink. Once a year, on October 1st, it turns pink at dusk to honor all of the breast cancer fighters and survivors. So cool! We finished our evening enjoying champagne and live music with our Go City passes. Can’t wait to share this travel guide.

The last day in Paris was spent shooting content for Jules and I’s Instagrams. I got another crepe (literally could not stop eating them) and we walked around the city just aimlessly exploring. It started raining right in time for me to catch an Uber to the airport. Arrived back in Florence at midnight!
