I’ve been fortunate enough to spend this season of life traveling to so many new countries that I’ve been spending pretty much every waking moment typing up different travel itineraries and outfit guides. However, fall fashion is in full swing for all of my people back at home and I’ve been dying to put together some layered looks for the chillier temperatures.
Heading back to my roots today and sharing fifteen fall outfit ideas to wear for all of the fun festivities happening this time of year. Whether you’re looking for a cute new outfit for class or a date night in the city I’ve got you covered. Per usual I’m sharing direct links to everything so that you can recreate these outfits too!

There’s nothing I love more than a good leather shacket. I wear this one all the time- school, bars, travel, you name it. It’s not as structured and stiff as your typical leather jacket and layers really well with tanks, long sleeves, and sweaters underneath. I wear a small!
Pairing this with a pair of tan pants from Express. I’ve had these for months and they are some of my favs. A little more elevated than your typical pair of blue jeans but just as comfy. Pairing them with heeled leather boots to finish this off! Love having a mix of leather right now.

You know those girls on Pinterest who look so effortless in their oversized sweaters and big chunky boots? I’ve always envied those girls and decided to finally *try* this style for myself. This taupe sweater has a slit along the side which shows off the skirt a little better!
I’m wearing a satin mini that works for so many different occasions and popping on polka dot tights to add some texture/ Then tossing on my favorite black boots; I love the height of these as they slim and elongate the legs simultaneously.

Sweater vests are my favorite this time of year. They layer so well and are the perfect transition piece from season to season, giving you just a little extra warmth. This one has a boxier fit that I love. It’s from Princess Polly and definitely the one I reach for most often.
I’ve got a black long-sleeve bodysuit layered underneath that’s tucked into a pair of black ripped jeans. I cuffed these and tossed on my go-to ankle sneakers, the Dolce Vita Zinas. These are by far my most comfortable sneakers, I wear them for miles on end and have never had any issues with them.

I am a sucker for a good shacket. I just grabbed this sherpa one and it is amazing if you’re looking for a thick layer that will keep you warm! It’s fleece lined and super chunky so it’s the perfect piece to throw on before heading out the door. It’s less structured than your typical coat so it works well over basic tees.
I tend to wear these with jeans and sneakers for a typical day of class!

I’ve been seeing cargo pants all over my Pinterest boards and am finally giving them a go! I got these from American Eagle and absolutely LOVE them! They are the best option when you want to be comfortable but want to look a little more put together. It’s like a chic form of joggers!
Toss them on with a basic tee and platform converse and you’re good to go. These are the Groove sneakers and they’ve got a foamy bottom that’s so comfortable. Definitely, one of my most worn pieces while studying abroad.

I came up with this outfit when packing for my weekend trip to London and fell in love with these layers for city strolling and sightseeing. This sweater vest has a mock neck that’s super cozy + will keep you extra warm. I’m wearing that same leather shacket over top and having a monochrome moment by tossing on a pair of shorts to match.
Been on a polka dot tights kick so am adding them + black boots to finish off the look.

I get SO many questions about this jeans and boots combo so I’m finally putting you on! Express high-waisted straight-leg jeans are the BEST! I’ve had this pair for over a year now but am linking their newer version for you to shop. I get their regular length and then cuff them with my Hutch boots from Steve Madden.
These suede boots go out of stock so quickly so you have to grab em now! They are so comfortable with a shorter chunky heel that I could walk miles in. These are more of a sock style up top so they don’t stump your legs the way a lot of boots do for us petite gals. I love this duo with a simple sweater for a cozy fall fit!

I love a good lounge fit, especially in the fall time. I cannot say enough good things about my Artie crossover flares. I wore these literally every day last fall. So much so that I picked up a second pair. These are so comfortable and incredibly flattering slimming the waist and lifting the booty.
Up top, I’m tossing on an oversized quarter zip. I get all of my favorite comfies from Boohoo! Add a belt bag and you instantly look more out together. Perfect outfit if you’re feeling lazy for class!

I know so many of you are on shacket kicks and so am so I. I swear I wear these over everything- tees, sweaters, loungewear, and more. This one is so thick, just a little lighter than a jacket. I got this in a size small and it’s very roomy!
I paired this with a simple tee and my go-to black jeans. These read “bootcut” on the website but they have more of a straight-leg fit to them. SO many of you bought these last year and loved them!

Nothing screams business casual babe quite like a button-up layered underneath of a sweater vest dress. This combo looks effortlessly chic and can easily be transitioned into the evening by belting it at the waist and throwing on tights. For now, I’m pulling the outfit together with chunky boots and my favorite Polene purse to match!

I know it’s chilly in other parts of the world but here in Florence, Italy where I’m studying abroad this fall, temperatures are still lingering in the seventies. To dress for “fall” without sweating, I’ve been opting for these sweater tanks instead. They look so cute with jeans and sneakers.
Layer a fitted long sleeve underneath once it’s chilly out to take this from season to season.

I’m a sucker for a good flannel in the fall! I found this one from Boohoo and am obsessed with the oversized fit of it. It’s slouchy in all the right areas and big enough to layer knits underneath. I however, went for one of my go-to Body Contour tees.
I get asked all the time what bra I wear with these and the answer is none which is why I rave about them so much! They are double-lined and made with a sculpting fabric that’s not see-through + holds everything in place. Denim and a pair of low-rise sneakers finish this outfit off perfectly.

Can’t go wrong with sneakers, straight-leg jeans, and a good ole pair of Converse for a weekend full of fun. Regardless of where the day takes you, you’ll be cute and comfy in this combination. Bonus points for my favorite three piece bag that fits everything + elevates every basic outfit.

I’ve been raving about this cotton button-front top since the spring. It’s got the perfect relaxed fit to it- I size up to a small to have it a little oversized. I wore these as a swimsuit cover-up all summer long and am transitioning them into the fall buttoned-up and tucked into jeans.
Wearing those khaki straight legs for a basic but better vibe, then throwing on black high-top sneakers. I love this outfit for a casual day around the city! Comfy but still so cute.

I love a good matching set and this one is no exception! There’s nothing better than comfy sweatpants and a hoodie for a work-from-home day. Getting out of my pajamas, even if just changing into more cozy clothes, helps with my productivity immensely.
The material of these pieces is crazy soft. Pairing them with sneakers and a belt bag when it’s time to leave the house.
