Is the moon in retrograde? Am I feeling this overwhelming gratitude by accident? Is anyone else feeling this “wow I can’t believe this is my life” feeling right now? Is it because this week is 11/11 and Tik Tok says good things are supposed to happen to you during this time?
I cannot describe the way I feel God moving in my life right now, constantly reminding me that I am right where I am supposed to be and that the people in my life have a purpose. I’m realizing that there was no reason to worry so much about this season of life because things are falling into place exactly the way they were meant to.
Hard work is always rewarded. Pour into people who pour into you. And the more good you put out, the more good comes back to you. I blinked and this place started to feel like home; I cannot believe we have just one month left. Soaking it all in and appreciating this place for all that it is. Thinking of you always!
With love, McKenz

Mondays always seem to be jam-packed. Starting the week off strong with three classes and a whole lot of blog work. Publishing the rest of my Switzerland content and getting on top of this week’s schedule. The girls and I tried a new salad place for lunch, Rosalia,, and grabbed gelato at our favorite place—he’s closing for the season next week and we’re so sad about it. 🙁

Just two classes today. I got a huge stack of mail for all kinds of holiday season content… we taxied it home and spent the afternoon unboxing it all + exchanging clothes. Spent the evening making dinner and watching old vlogs together, reminiscing on our good ole days.

Spending our three-hour lunch break eating the yummiest meal at a new restaurant Gusto Leo. We had some incredible cacio e pepe, pizza, and cheesecake. One of my favorite meals we’ve had here by far! I gave a big presentation in my Luxury Market class before switching over to Styledby work for the evening.
I have all kinds of fun sponsored content coming your way with brands I’ve worn and loved for years—I can’t wait to share more details with you and am so grateful for my amazing manager Chloe keeping me on track while in Italy!

Off to the Leather School this morning for a school field trip. This family-owned business makes leather goods right in front of you with some of the highest quality materials in the world. It was so cool getting to see it in person finally! I spent the afternoon filming, editing, and doing laundry. Lauren and I went on a fun dinner date by the duomo to close out the night. Can’t get enough of the pizza here!

Had the most amazing day trip to Prato, Italy with our school. Our first stop was to the Textile Museum to see how styles and prints evolved over the decades. Here we also saw the lifecycle of different fibers. We had a two-hour lunch break to take in the city. We explored the duomo, castle, and stumbled upon the cutest family-owned restaurant where the waiter quite literally made me a “surprise” dish. I had amazing smoked pasta.
Afterward, we went to a cashmere textile factory and got to see the owner’s gigantic vintage collection. We had an incredible sunset on the ride home and I couldn’t help but just feel God’s love in me. I see my loved ones in everything I do and it is such a special feeling knowing no matter where you go in this world, they are always with you!

This weekend was too short to go out of the country so we decided a day trip to Rome was finally in order. We hopped on a train first thing this morning and spent the day doing all of the things—Trevi Fountain, tour of the Pantheon, lunch by the Colosseum, and the Spanish steps. It was another one of those days where I couldn’t help but think “God, I really am the luckiest girl in the world”.

Started my morning off at church then went to a long, yummy lunch with Lauren. We got their fillet and potatoes and it was amazing. I spent my entire afternoon cozied up in bed editing this week’s vlog, just like the good ole days.
