A few weeks ago I took a break from all of the travel content to just sit down and share some good ole outfit ideas with you and the post did so well. So much so that it only seemed fitting to share a part two with you. Today I’m sharing twelve outfit ideas to wear during all of the fun festivities happening this season.
Whether you’re looking for a cute new outfit to wear to class, your Friendsgiving, or a date night in the city I’ve got you covered. I’m styling tons of new pieces that just arrived so (almost) everything is fully stocked and ready to be shopped—click pink text for direct links to shop!
I threw this outfit together for a lunch date the other day and loved it so much that it only felt right to include it in this post. I’ve always been afraid to recreate the famous Pinterest-inspired “oversized sweater and mini skirt” combination. However, I finally gave it a try and am obsessed. Adding a scarf for a cozy bundled-up look.
I’m slipping into my favorite boots ever, the Steve Madden Hutch, and then popping on a pair of white boot socks. This small styling hack will instantly tie an outfit together.

All the cool European girls wear these knee-length camel coats. I had to pick one up for my upcoming travels. These look so chic and go with literally everything. I’m keeping things simple and wearing one of my favorite turtleneck bodysuits. I’ve had this piece in my closet for years and find myself going back to it time and time again.
It seamlessly tucks into a good pair of jeans. I’ve had this straight-leg pair from Revolve on repeat lately. Throw on a pair of chunky black boots and a few layered necklaces and you’re good to go. This is an outfit full of basics and yet it looks so elevated with the coat!

One of my favorite combinations this time of year is a good puffer jacket and leggings. There’s no easier outfit than all black. Instantly spice up your outfit with a matching scarf, beanie, and pair of socks. You’ll keep warm with these added accessories and they make an outfit 100x cuter.

I’ve got Paris on my mind… Starting this outfit off with a basic white sweater and jeans. This sweater is a lightweight knit that I’ve brought on all of my most recent trips. It’s a great layering piece with a boat neckline. My jeans are new from Express and so comfortable. They are made with stretch-plus fabric and run true to size; I’m wearing a 00 regular here.
Popping on the cutest new loafers. I’ve seen these all over my Pinterest feed this season and finally got my hands on a pair. They give me such Parisian vibes. Tying this look together with a matching beret and scarf. When in doubt, just throw this duo on—I swear it makes every outfit 10x cuter.

I get so many questions on what to wear out this time of year and my answer is almost always a pair of leather pants. I have this pair in a gazillion different colors; they are available in petite so they fit me like a glove. They are high-waisted, hit right at the ankles, and surprisingly keep you so warm.
I style these with sweaters for everyday outfits but also with crop tops for nights out. I love a good plunging neckline but you also cannot go wrong with just a basic cropped long sleeve. I have this one in so many colors and it’s one of my favorite pieces ever. So many ways to mix and match this. How cute are these booties to go with?! They are the perfect going-out shoe—elongate the legs and give you just a little bit of height.

Nothing makes me feel more boujee than a good tights outfit. I always loved the way tights looked with mini skirts and since studying abroad I’ve been wearing this combination more than I ever imagined. Keeps the legs warm and looks so chic. I slipped into my favorite black boots from Steve Madden. These have a chunky sole and a sock-boot fit that really elongates the legs.
Up top, I’m wearing my favorite sweater ever. I have this in five colors now and it’s the perfect amount of oversized. Looks cute with skirts, leggings, and denim! I’m tossing on one of my go-to shackets to keep warm. This is one of the best SheIn pieces I own—big fan.

I just love a good sweater vest this time of year. How cute is this one with the handkerchief hem and braided tie-side details? I’m obsessed! Tossing this on with a pair of straight-leg jeans and my favorite Steve Madden boots. If it’s too chilly where you are to go sleeveless, toss a thin long sleeve underneath and you’ll be good to go!
Tying that light sandy nude back into this outfit with a matching crossbody. I got this in Morocco, Africa and I swear I’ve never gotten so many compliments on a bag before. It’s handmade from old recycled rugs—how cool!
Thanksgiving is right around the corner and there’s no cuter combination than a plaid skirt and some matching layers. Starting off with an Express Body Contour top. These are some of the best basics if you’re looking for something that isn’t see-through and sucks everything in.
I just grabbed my favorite leather shacket in the chocolate brown and am tossing that over top, then bundling it up with a scarf. Keeping things matchy-matchy with a sock + boot combination that never fails. This coordination really ties the look together, in my opinion.

How cute is this sweater vest?! It would look adorable with jeans but if you’re on the short side like me (I’m 5’2) then you can definitely pull it off as a dress. (Add tights if you’re feeling iffy about it!). I layered a solid long sleeve underneath to keep things “fall” and am tossing on a pair of black boots to match.
I’ve been accessorizing with all kinds of headbands lately and I have to say, I love the flair they add to an outfit! I reached for a simple black one and grabbed a tote to match. I bring this one with me to class every day as it’s big enough to fit my journal and computer!

When in doubt, I tend to slip into a solid black long-sleeve and a pair of black jeans. I just got these bottoms from Revolve’s Super down line and love the fit of them. Tossing on a chunky knit cardigan and a pair of boots in the same hue to add a little color to this outfit. Such a simple look and yet one that works for almost any fall occasion!

I reach for this outfit at least once a week when getting dressed for class. A white tee and jeans are a never fail, no matter the season. To make things “fall” I just swap out which jacket I’m throwing on over top. This chocolate brown one is a lightweight denim and too cute.
I’ve got about a half-mile walk to school so my Converse Move sneakers are almost always my shoe of choice. These are so comfortable and have definitely been one of my most-worn pieces throughout this study abroad season. I have them in several colors and won’t be stopping there!

Same tee from the last look just styled a bit differently… Wearing this one with a new pair of straight-leg jeans from SheIn. These have a high-waisted, straight-leg fit. I always struggle with their denim sizing but finally got it right with this pair—wearing a Petite XXS and love these. They hit right at the ankles so a pair of low-top chunky sneakers look adorable!
It’s officially beanie season so I’m grabbing one that matches my sneakers. Then keeping things simple with a fanny pack. These Lululemon ones have to be some of the most worn pieces in my closet this year. They are so easy to throw on and this new sherpa style is perfect for the fall/winter months!

Well, friends, that’s a wrap for these twelve fall outfit ideas. As you can tell I’ve been sporting all the neutrals this season and am heading back to the basics with my layering techniques. I’ve got another batch of clothing on the way and am thinking some Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas might be coming your way next?! Until then.
