Weekly Wrap Up #47 2022

Oh my gosh, how is it already Wednesday?! I am SO sorry for coming to you late this week but my gosh have things been chaotic around here. My best friend Sam has been in town visiting me and it’s safe to say we’ve been on the move. Found ourselves in a different city every day last week. What a blast it’s been!

She’s currently en route back to the states after fifteen days with me which means I’m currently scrambling to get back on track with lots of blog posts and YouTube videos to edit. Grateful for the experience of a lifetime together but now it’s time to grind. Just two weeks left of my college career and it’s starting to all feel real….

Monday, November 21

Gave my Italian oral exam this morning then hopped on a train to Rome. I had such an amazing time here last week that I just knew I had to bring Sam. It ended up being the most gorgeous day out. We stopped by Trevi Fountain, The Pantheon, The Colosseum, and had a yummy lunch complete with Aperol Spritz. I just love this city so much—full of history and even more beauty.

Tuesday, November 22

‘Twas a busy day in Florence—two classes with a long lunch break spent catching up on sponsored content and emails. Took Sam out afterward for some proper exploring. We grabbed sweet treats, stopped at the leather market, bought matching Florence tee shirts, and went to one of my favorite pizza spots in town. Then home to pack for our long weekend in France!

Wednesday, November 23

If I had a dollar for every flight I’ve been on this year… off to Florence airport for a quick flight to Paris, France. The trio was reunited for the first time since living together in California. I can’t tell you how lucky I feel to be with friends that truly feel like family for my first Thanksgiving away from home. My heart could burst! Checking out the Christmas market and riding the ferris wheel tonight.

Thursday, November 24

Not your typical Thanksgiving Day—we went to the Dior museum, Trocadero, and explored the streets of Paris taking all kinds of photos. We did a dinner boat cruise tonight with Bateaux Mouches and it was amazing. Five courses of food, three hours of cruising, and a glittering Eiffel Tower. It really doesn’t get much better than that! Feeling so thankful for this season of life but missing home extra!

Friday, November 25 

Spent the morning exploring Montmarte, Paris. We locked up our names on the railing, bought tons of souvenirs, and went inside Sacracour church. Then off to the airport to catch a quick flight to Nice. We checked into the cutest hotel and grabbed dinner before calling it quits and heading to bed early. Time to rest up for a full day of exploring tomorrow!

Saturday, November 26

We got to Nice late last night which made waking up to the gorgeous palm trees, crystal clear water, and colorful buildings even better. We explored a ton and had a yummy lunch by the water. Then climbing to the top of the castle to watch an incredible sunset. It was one of those that just moves you to tears.

Sunday, November 27

Another full day exploring Nice—we went to the farmers market and found all kinds of fun souvenirs, did a bit of shopping, and took tons of photos. Ate some more yummy food and laughed a lot. Oh, and made it to the beach just in time for one more epic sunset. Can’t believe this is the last time I’ll be by the ocean in 2022—I’ve been so incredibly blessed with so many amazing travel opportunities this year. I can’t believe they are coming to an end.
