Another study abroad trip has come and gone. I spent my five-day Thanksgiving break exploring France and what fun it was! I split my time between Paris and Nice which, as you may know, have two completely different vibes. I went from Pinterest girl basics for a chic city, to cool colors for a coastal beach town.
Despite being so different in atmosphere and temperature, I managed to pack for the entire week in my carry-on! This was one of the few trips where I felt perfectly prepared—coming up with some adorable outfits if I do say so myself.
Per usual I’m rounding up all of my outfits from this trip as well as links to shop so that you can recreate these fun looks on your next European adventure. Hope you enjoy!

I used to be someone who brought all kinds of “fun” pieces on trips— you know the kind of outfit that makes for a really awesome Instagram photo but isn’t actually practical in any way, shape, or form. That’s what this bedazzled sparkle bow dress is for me. I was freezing my tushy off but I knew this would be the cutest picture. Don’t worry, I changed right out of this number five minutes later.
It is, however, the perfect dress if you’re planning on doing a fancy cocktail hour/dinner. We went on a dinner boat cruise on Thanksgiving evening and my best friend actually wore this outfit the entire time. Super cute and actually appropriate weather-wise once you’re seated inside.

Something warm and comfortable is absolutely key for a day full of sightseeing in Paris. Temperatures were in the mid-forties so I ended up wearing the cutest chunky knit sweater dress. I layered a fitted turtleneck underneath of this for an extra layer and then slipped into tights to keep my legs covered.
These tall boots were on repeat pretty much the entire weekend. I have them in the color “bone” and black and they were truly the perfect shoes for this trip. They have a low heel that gives you just a little bit of height, yet they are still manageable to walk around in. Plus, these come right up to the knees so they are perfect to wear with a pair of tall socks.
Adding winter weather accessories to keep warm and spice up this outfit—how fun is this hat I got?! You’ll also catch me wearing this scarf with almost every look. It’s by far the warmest in my collection and it goes with everything.

Spent Thanksgiving evening dressed up on a dinner boat cruise. I did one of these with Bateaux Mouches the last time I was in Paris so I knew this would be the perfect thing to do to celebrate the holiday. It has a fancier dress code so I picked up this amazing black tulle Lulus dress for the occasion. How cute is this?!
I mean come on, tiered ruffles and a flattering neckline. Doesn’t get much better than that.
I paired the cutest black chunky heels with this. These are crazy tall but really transform an outfit. I have them in several colors and they are among my favorites for a dolled-up night. This would be the perfect combo for a winter wedding or holiday party!

I’m sure you’ve seen a variation of this outfit straight off your Pinterest feed before. A long sleeve layered underneath a sweater vest, layered underneath a leather jacket is THE Parisian outfit blueprint. With a leather skirt, tights, and tall boots you’ll look so chic and so European.
I love this city because it’s the perfect place to pull out my fun accessories. Throwing on my cabby hat to match, a scarf for an added layer (a must!), and my favorite little baguette bag!

You can’t come to Paris during Christmas time and not check out the Christmas markets. With so many fun rides, cute souvenirs to shop for, and amazing food options this is a must while you’re in the city. I tossed on a basic black turtleneck and black leather pants—a never fail outfit combo here in Europe.
Of course, I’m slipping into those same boots I’ve been wearing all weekend—these are so fitted to the calves that they even work even under straight-leg pants which is so convenient. Tossing on a knee-length coat to keep the wind off of me during the chilly evenings. Highly recommend packing one of these with you during the wintertime.

Off to Nice, France for the second leg of our trip which was just a short plane ride away. Despite being along the water, it’s much, much warmer over here. In fact, sixty-five and sunny was warm enough for a bodysuit, skirt, and bare legs. I couldn’t believe it! I definitely recommend pants and a light coat in the evening but for the daytime, I was just fine in this cute combo.
It’s super colorful in this town so I figured a pink bodysuit would make a fun statement. I have this specific Skims dupe in five colors and it’s one of my favorite pieces. Double-lined, super thick, and layers so well with everything.

How adorable is this fringe sweater?! I knew the second it came in the mail that it would be the perfect piece for our trip to France. It’s a chunky knit with a huge turtleneck and the cutest fringe hanging off the sleeves. I gave this a little bra tuck and paired it with my go-to jeans. I got these culottes from Mango a few weeks ago and have been wearing them literally every single day.
They are the softest denim and fit my waist so beautifully. These are the perfect cut and pair so well with little ankle shoes. I’m channeling my inner French girl with these fun loafers and of course, I had to get a beret and scarf to match. I’m obsessed with how effortlessly this outfit came together.

Oh, and while I’m at it, linking my favorite feather pajamas for you! How cute are these?! I got a pair for me and a pair for Lauren so that we could match for our fun slumber party. I’m obsessed.

Well, that’s a wrap on what I wore to France. I love the way all of these looks came together and am so sad that time my time in Europe is coming to an end. It has been so much fun traveling to new places while also getting to experience so many new styles. Going to miss being this creatively energized! No need to be sad yet…. Few more guides coming your way. Stay tuned!
