My February was packed full of Florida fun! I spent two weeks exploring Orlando, Sarasota, and Saint Pete. It was a casual trip compared to my usual travels with most days spent at the beach, relaxing around the house, and walking around cute quaint downtown areas. It was every bit of relaxing as it was exciting.
With that came a lot of easy, everyday outfit ideas. I know many of you are headed to Florida for your spring break… today I’ve got fourteen outfit ideas to recreate including some fun locations to snap your next Insta-worthy photo at. Enjoy!

Most of our Florida trip consisted of beaching during the day and wining and dining in the evenings. I learned very quickly that it’s super casual in this part of Florida so a simple tank and jeans will work just fine for the occasion. This tank is one of my favorites—it’s the perfect mix of girl-next-door yet effortlessly sexy.
We visited in February and it was definitely a little cooler in the evenings. I was so happy that I had a pair of jeans with me for dinners—this Express pair has just the right amount of distressing. They run a little tight so I’d suggest sizing up. No need for heels here; just a simple pair of sandals and a cute purse is all you need for a successful night out.

One-piece swimsuits don’t have to be boring. This sexy little black bathing suit scored me all kinds of love during our time in Saint Pete. It’s a rather high-cut suit thanks to the lace-up detail along both sides. It’s got a crisis cross back and a plunging neckline so this suit is fun all around! Plus it’s under $15 which you can’t beat.
No beach day of mine is complete without my favorite straw tote. I scored this at H&M a few months ago—it’s sold out online but I keep seeing it in-store! Of course, I also needed a matching straw hat. The sweetest small business @labeljae just sent me this one. The quality is unreal; definitely a splurge but a piece I’ll have in my collection forever.

Nothing beats a sexy bikini for a 9-5 beach day. I brought this bikini in two different colors and it was definitely my favorite of the whole trip. This suit is functional and flattering—the best kind of combination. The top is triangle style but the cups are stitched into place so there’s no chance of this moving around throughout the day. Plus, there are no clasps or self-ties so this baby has zero chance of falling off, haha.
The bottoms fit very similar to a pair of hipster, cheeky underwear. They make your butt look amazing and leave a very basic tanline. Everyone that buys this ends up telling me how much they love it! Under $10 is such a steal too.

At 21 years old I went to Disney for the first time ever! We spent a twelve-hour day at Epcot—exploring all of the different countries. It was in the high seventies during our visit and this ended up being the perfect outfit for a day on the move. Up top, I’m wearing one of my favorite baby tees. I have this in several colors and it’s the best: a lightweight cotton that sits below the belly button so it’s not too cropped. Plus, this is always on sale!
I paired this with my new favorite denim shorts from Abercrombie. Finally a pair of shorts that actually covers your butt but are still cute! On my feet, I wore my Converse Move sneakers aka the most comfortable yet trendy shoes for a full day of walking. I constantly do 15K+ steps in these; they are the best.

A lot of my Florida trip, consisted of casual outfits like this one. I cannot even tell you how many times I wore this white linen button-up. It’s super oversized and a lightweight cotton that’s very breathable. Leave it unbuttoned as a swimsuit cover-up, or toss it on with shorts and sandals for an easy dinner outfit.

If you’re visiting Sarasota, you have to spend a few hours at the Ringling Museum. This is a huge property that belonged to the Ringling family and the grounds are just beautiful. Not to mention the art collection of this family is insane—definitely, a fun thing to do if you’re an art history nerd like me!
You can wear anything here but most people are dressed a little more respectfully. I went with a linen maxi dress and a cute pair of heels to match. The perfect look!

I was so happy to move my body during this trip. I hot girl walked almost every single morning and it was the *best* start to my days. This Lululemon jumpsuit is my current obsession— it’s essentially just their Align tank and Align leggings fused together into a one piece. It is so flattering it’s insane.
Crazy comfortable and makes you look so tall! On my feet I’ve got my new Hokas. I got the Bondi 8’s and they really are some of the best sneakers I’ve ever owned; the amount of support in these is just so good. Plus you can’t not love that colorful sole!

Maybe it’s the twin in me but I just love a matchy-matchy moment. I found these adorable daisy-printed swimsuits from Cupshe in two different styles and had to get them for Sam and me. I’m wearing the bikini with a pair of jean shorts thrown over. Up top, I’ve got the cutest yellow cardigan.
This ended up being the perfect layering piece throughout our trip—not needed during the day but it definitely cooled off in the evenings.

Exploring one of the downtown areas in this adorable two piece set from one of my favorite local, small businesses, Poppyseed & Co. There’s nothing better than a little bit of gingham— it gives “girl next door” in the best way possible.
Two piece sets are my favorite because A) They take virtually no effort B) You can mix and match the pieces getting three outfits for the price of one! By now you’ve seen these sandals in a gazillion outfits & in multiple different colorways. These are real leather from Franco Sarto and are hands down my most worn shoes. I wore these all over Europe becauae they look good with everything and are so comfortable. Def a closet must have for me!

Gotta love a cute printed bikini! This one laces up around the torso and has beaded accents throughout. So unique. I wouldn’t reccomend this style for a full day in the water as it does move around, but for a day of reading on the beach it worked just fine. You know me—can’t forget a good straw hat.

If I’m not wearing a tee and jean shorts throughout the day you can probably find me in a little mini-dress. There’s simply nothing easier to throw on and go. I have this dress in two different colors now and I just love the halter neck and open back. It’s definitely on the see-through side so I suggest nude undergarments or wearing this as a beach cover-up!

Another easy outfit for exploring Sarasota. You can never go wrong with a little baby tee and pair of jeans. Brandy Melville has some of my favorite graphics. I don’t usually wear my Rainbow flip-flops anywhere but the beach but sometimes they just work. These classic leather shoes really are such a staple in my summer wardrobe.

Another one of my favorite workout sets from Girlfriend Collective— a sustainable, inclusive activewear brand. They have so many fun styles. I love this one-shoulder sports bra for low-intensity activity. It’s super cute and always scores me lots of compliments. The leggings are just a classic cut!

This cotton dress is one of my favorites. I have it in three colors now and the lace-up back is just so good. Pair it with sandals and a cute little purse for a day full of exploring downtown or wear it as a swimsuit cover-up for a beach day! This does run a little short so if you’re on the taller side, I’d pass on this one!
