Headed to San Deigo sometime soon?! It’s one of my favorite cities in California—packed full of sandy blonde surfers, the most beautiful beaches, and the best food. I swear everyone there is drunk on sunshine and good vibes. I just got back from two weeks in California and am missing it already!
Today I’m sharing what to wear in San Diego this spring—I’ve got seven outfit ideas complete with direct links to shop and directions to each Insatgrammable photo location. It was a little chillier (and cloudier) than we had hoped but that didn’t stop the fun! Enjoy. xx

I can’t think of a sexier bathing suit than this one from sustainable, small business, Seven Swimwear. I have this bikini in two colors now and it’s hands down the most flattering suit in my collection. The quality is unreal. These bottoms are a little skimpy so I’m covering up with the most adorable crochet maxi skirt. I couldn’t love this little bit of fringe more.

I got these adorable cargo pants from American Eagle a few weeks back and literally, cannot stop wearing them. They’ve got the most flattering fit ever. They sit just below the belly button, slimming the waist and hugging your tush beautifully. I have them in two colors but this peach is perfect for a little spring transition!
I have this paired with my favorite baby tee ever. Under $15 and I own 3 colors. One of my favs! Keeping things laid back for a shopping day in San Diego with a pair of high-top Converse and a cute trucker hat!

The sun peaked out just in time for a trip to the Carlsbad flower fields where I snapped the cutest pictures in this green baby doll dress. I swear this style dress looks good on everyone and it’s perfect if you’re looking to take some twirling pictures.
I’m not in love with the sandals I styled with thi but it’s all I had packed! Of course, no photoshoot is complete without my favorite wide brimmed hat. I got this one many yesrs ago from Lulus but am linking *almost* the exact same one from Lack of Colors.

Nothing makes me feel more “California girl” than a basic white tee, a good ole pair of light-wash jeans, and a trucker hat. It seems to be the daily uniform for a lot of San Diego peeps so I fit right in with this cute combo. I’m loving this shade of green for the springtime!

It was a little too cold for a beach day but we still wanted to stop and snap some pictures. I’m obsessed with this little floral suit. Lulus always has the best stuff, especially when it comes to cute spring break looks! Bonus points for this adorable crochet mini skirt that scored me all the compliments.

This outfit transitioned from window shopping to dinner date so effortlessly. I’m obsessed with the lace tank front tucked into my favorite straight leg jeans from Express. It was a little brisk so I added this oversized button-up over top to keep “warm”! I threw on a neutral pair of boots for just a little height. I love how effortless this outfit looks!

Nothing screams spring quite like a good pair of wide-leg jeans and low-top sneakers. These bottoms are from Mango and hit just at the ankle. These bottoms look best styled with a flat shoe—either a pair of slip-on sandals or low-top sneakers like these Dolce Vita Zinas. I wear these all spring/fall long; they are by far the best “transition” shoe and look good with everything.
Keeping things super casual with a good ole graphic tee up top. This is one of my favorites from Project Social tee, a sustainable brand out of Los Angeles. Perfect for a day of coffee shop working!
