I went to the most amazing dinner on the water last week and wore this beautiful silk dress. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten so many compliments on a piece—it was a crowd favorite! This color is giving me all the mermaid vibes so I paired this with espadrille wedges, seashell jewelry, and a few starfish hair clips.
This was perfect for our fine dining experience at sunset. I’ll definitely rewear this with a pair of lace-up heels once wedding season rolls around.
Wedding season is here! I get a gazillion DMs each summer asking for dress inspiration. Don’t worry, I have a full blog post coming later this week but in the meantime, here’s a quick little outfit idea. I get most of my formalwear from Lulus—they have the best selection and most of their dresses come in several colors.
Plus, they have an amazing return policy. This plunging dress is always my first recommendation. I have it in three colors now and it’s hands down the most flattering (yet functional) dress I own. This light lilac is the perfect shade for summer too! Highly suggest pairing any midi dresses with the Dolce Vita Paily heels. These are always my go-to for a night full of dancing. So comfortable and so versatile.

Farmers’ market weekends are my favorite. I usually keep things pretty casual for this event. I just got these adorable new overalls and have been dying to put them to the test. I sized up in these so they would have a looser fit and layered a basic baby tee underneath. I have this top in five colors—it really is the most versatile basic!
Don’t forget your favorite tote for all of the goodies you pick up. I bring this straw one everywhere in the summertime.
top || shorts || sandals || hat
I’ve been fully embracing the coastal cowgirl aesthetic this summer. Up top I’m wearing the most adorable white crochet long sleeve. Pair this with jean shorts, a cute bikini, and sandals for a day on the boat. Want to style it again? Add cowgirl boots and a hat for a concert. It’s one of those pieces that works for every occasion so you’re sure to get plenty of wear out of it!
Rompers are always my go-to for a shopping day. You look so put together without having to put much thought into your outfit. This one is from an adorable boutique and is a lightweight linen. It belts along the waist to give you some shape and has pockets. These straw sandals have quickly become my new go-tos. They are super comfy and have just a little height to them that helps elongate the legs.
Of course, I had to add my favorite purse to match. I bought this during a shopping day in Charleston, SC, and am obsessed. It pulls every outfit together so effortlessly!
Dinner and drinks with the girlfriends doesn’t have to be casual… text the group and tell them to wear a dress like the good old days. This striped midi is perfect to wear in the evening as it’s a thicker, sweater-like material that will keep you comfortable during those cool summer evenings. Per usual, I’m adding straw accessories to complete this outfit!
Easy breezy sundresses have become my go-to for first dates! In the cooler months, I usually feel a little fancy wearing one but summer is the perfect excuse to pull one out! I give them bonus points because they take zero effort to style. My secret styling weapon are these straw shoes from Dolce Vita + the matching. I swear this combo gives every outfit that effortless, beachy feel that’s so me.
Can’t go wrong with a cute floral romper for Sunday brunch with friends. I love this off-the-shoulder style. This has tiered ruffles throughout and small pleats—both such unique details that give this piece an unexpected flare. I’m keeping things casual with a pair of Steve Madden sandals. Although these are flat, they wrap around the ankle once, helping elongate the legs.
This straw bag with the chain link strap is one of my most reached-for pieces! It’s the best size and goes with everything. Be sure to sign up for restocks!
Now that I’m “of age” I’m so excited to spend this summer exploring more wineries. It’s such a fun weekend activity with your girlfriends and the best part is you get to dress up for it! At least that’s what we do in my neck of the woods! A cute floral dress with a pair of strappy shoes to match is perfect for a day of wine tasting.
I feel like June/July is the season for backyard BBQs. This adorable striped set is perfect for an afternoon full of cornhole, hotdogs, and drinks out back. Plus, this lightweight linen is so easy breezy. I’m keeping things super simple with a basic pair of sneakers. The Dolce Vita Zinas are my all-time favorite shoes. Super comfortable for a full day on your feet!
I opted for my favorite heels from Lulus since they matched to a tee but if you’re wanting something flat, I’ll leave a favorite pair linked as well.
