Summer is here which means it’s time to break out all of the bright florals. The mix of turquoise and pink throughout this dress screams outdoor wedding. Plus, you can never go wrong with a silk maxi dress with a cowl neckline. This is such a classic silhouette that flatters every figure.
I’m popping on a simple nude heel that’s comfortable to walk in and adding a pretty pink clutch to match.
This strapless floral maxi dress is perfect for any of you attending a “garden party” themed event during the wedding weekend. This style hangs beautifully and hits right at the toes so you can wear just about any pair of heels with this.

Wow oh wow, this dress is everything I could hope for and so much for. A silk maxi is perfect for a black tie wedding. This one is rather shapeless yet the slit helps you show a little bit of leg in a sexy way! Whenever I have a slit I always opt for lace-up heels—they help draw the eye downward, elongating your legs in no time.
This color is giving me all the beach wedding vibes so I opted for summery accessories—starfish hairclips (the perfect addition to an updo), a seashell ring, and a straw clutch.
Oh, how I love a yellow dress. I don’t usually reach for shorter styles but I know some of you prefer them, especially in the midst of this summer heat. I scored this beautiful dress on SheIn of all places. Not only is it show-stopping but I was blown away by the quality of it.
It has a beautiful neckline that looks amazing with a high pony. Toss on a pair of strappy heels and you’re all set for a magical night on the dance floor.
These sleeves are so eighties and I just cannot get enough. If your arms aren’t your favorite area, puff sleeves are the perfect distraction. This dress has a beautiful tiered skirt that stops just before the ankles. Therefore, I’m lacing up my favorite heels to elongate the legs.
These are actually raffia so they give this outfit that classic coastal feel that I just love. Of course, I had to carry the matching clutch! Wear this dress again for a day full of shopping with a pair of sandals—it’s a lightweight linen that’s incredibly versatile.
When it comes to black tie, your best bet is scouring the “Bridesmaid” section of a website. Petal & Pup had so many amazing styles to choose from but this beautiful lilac caught my eye. I love a halter neckline + open-back combo. This is one of those dresses that flatters every body shape and can be worn for future weddings/formalities as well!
Which let’s be real, is always a plus.
If you’re headed to a cocktail attire wedding this hot pink satin dress is right up your alley. This comes in a few different colors but it’s summer, so I had to embrace all of the bright hues. If your tummy isn’t your most confident area, I suggest one of these dresses with some drape across the front. This will help distract from the area + an asymmetrical hem is so flattering.
Of course, if you’re looking to elongate the legs you’ll want to reach for something that wraps up the ankles. Lucky me I had a pair of hot pink wedges that matched beautifully.
Pleated dresses are so timeless. Plus you can’t go wrong with a champagne dress—this is a piece you can wear for seasons to come! It has a handkerchief-style cut meaning, it’s high then low in certain areas. Throw on some lace-up heels to keep this from “stumping” your height and you’re good to go. This style is from Lulus and one of my most worn—pairs with everything beautifully and comes in several colors.
Off to a wedding this summer?! If so, I hope this gave you all the outfit inspo you were looking for. I’ve got a part two of this blog post up my sleeve so stay tuned for more styles coming your way very soon. In the meantime, happy shopping! xo
