9 Winter Outfit Ideas 2023

Christmas Morning PJs Under $20

Don’t wait to get your Christmas pajamas. They’re on sale right now for $20 and fully stocked! I paired the bottoms with one of my favorite $10 baby tees and a red sweater from Aerie. This comes in 15 colors and is currently 50% off. I got a size medium for an oversized fit.

Cozy Cabin Attire

This outfit is making me want to escape to the mountains for a cozy cabin weekend. Sweaters are 35% off right now making most of them $35 and under. This one comes in two colors. Pair with my all-time favorite straight-leg jeans. I have these in two colors and they are my most reached for jeans – $35, true structured denim, and just the right amount of wide throughout the legs.

This scarf ($17) and hat ($14) duo complete every outfit so effortlessly. A great set of gifts to give, especially if you need something useful that’s around the $30 price range.

Comfy For Class

All of my college/work-from-home girlies need this whole outfit. This hoodie is 50% off (now $30) and is the perfect amount of oversized. So so cozy. Pair with yoga pants and sherpa shoes and you’re good to go. I’ve been wearing Aerie yoga pants for years but finally tried the American Eagle ones and am so impressed with the quality.

They aren’t athletic material and much thicker so they are perfect for everyday outfits. Currently $31!

Dinner & Drinks

I’d argue that every twenty-something needs a leather shacket in their closet. These are the easiest things to throw over a solid white tee and jeans. Pop on sneakers for class or swap out heeled boots for dinner and drinks in the city with your girlfriends. One of my most worn + versatile pieces in my closet. Currently 30% off! 

$48 Sherpa Season

This is the best puffer jacket for winter! It’s entirely sherpa and has just the right amount of “puff” to it. I suggest sizing up so you can have extra room in the shoulder area— makes things much more comfortable when you have winter layers/chunky sweaters underneath.

Good Day For a Striped ($30) Sweater

This is the cutest everyday sweater. Perfect for the office, class, weekend fun, you name it. Comes in 11 colors and is currently $31. I’m wearing a size small for reference.

Weekending in Plaid

My go-to outfit for a day on my college campus looks like this. Basic baby tee with a thick, cozy flannel shacket layered over top. American Eagle has so many cute ones right now. These are such a great layering piece, giving you a little extra warmth without being overly bulky. 

I’ve been on the hunt for a good pair of black ripped jeans to wear this winter and these are perfect. Straight leg, high-waisted, and stretchy soft denim. I can wear these to class and dress them up for a night out at the bars! 

The Best $30 Hoodie

Everyone has that hoodie. You know the one you reach for as soon as it comes out of the washing machine? This is mine! Comes in six different colors and is only $35. I am wearing the XS/S and it’s the perfect amount of oversized.

Waffle Wear Under $30

This waffle sweater has to be my favorite thing on American Eagle’s website right now. This comes in several colors and is under $30. It’s the coziest material and super warm so it will be the perfect layering piece this winter. Don’t forget the matching beanie— this really pulls the outfit together!
