Business casual outfit ideas are consistently my most requested content. I’ve got you corporate girlies covered with fourteen office-ready outfit ideas. I know there will be a debate in the comments on whether or not jeans are classified as business casual… it seems everyone’s definition is different these days so I’ve included both to be on the safe side.
top || sweater || jeans || shoes || purse
Sweater vests are one of the best business-casual investments because they can easily be transitioned from season to season. Layer a basic turtleneck underneath during those chilly months or just a cami in the springtime. I have this one in a few colors and reach for it all the time. These straight-leg jeans are a great office-approved option— a medium wash with no distressing. These aren’t quite skinny jeans but aren’t as baggy as your usual straight legs so they look a little more professional.
top || pants || shoes || purse
If you’re looking for good business casual trousers these are such a good option— under $25 and fit beautifully. They hit just at the ankle making them the perfect length with heels or mules. Dress them up or down, either way, you can’t go wrong! This striped sweater tee is just perfect.
sweater || pants || shoes || purse
When in doubt throw on a sweater and trousers. A mock neck is effortlessly chic, especially with a few gold necklaces layered on. In a rush? Throw on a pointed sling-back heel to give your outfit that “I didn’t wake up late” effect.
top || skirt || tights || shoes || blazer
I’m all for a mini-skirt moment. Make things office-approved with opaque tights and black booties. There are a gazillion ways you could style this piece but I opted for all black also known as my default “I don’t know what to wear” outfit.
sweater || jeans || shoes || purse || jacket
If you’re looking for the best universal sweater to style throughout every season, look no further. This piece is under $15 and can be styled dozens of ways. Perfect for the spring with a pair of jeans and a little block heel. I’ve tossed on the cutest jacket too for a little warmth! This piece is from SheIn’s Dazy collection and gives my $150 Abercrombie one a run for its money… only $40 too!
Snatch your waist with this combo— a silk blouse tucked into high-waisted trousers will hug your waist at its smallest point. I’m dressing this look up with those same pointed-toe shoes from Amazon. These are such a great staple piece to grab— so comfortable and make every outfit instantly professional.
sweater || pants || shoes|| belt
I love a good balloon-sleeve sweater. Wear this one to work with a pair of wide-leg trousers and heels. Change into leather pants and a pair of booties and you can easily transition this from day to date night. It’s one of those universal pieces you’ll be reaching for all season long.
sweater || jacket || jeans || shoes
This plaid jacket is a gem of a find. Under $40 and amazing quality, this double-breasted jacket instantly dresses up an outfit. I have this tossed over a basic sweater and jeans— this seems to be a lot of your corporate girlies’ daily work uniform. If sneakers are too casual for your office setting, try swapping them for a pair of mules.
sweater || pants || shoes || purse
Can’t go wrong with a little pop of pink as spring nears! The asymmetrical hem of this sweater is such a sweet touch to this ribbed sweater. Style with jeans or trousers and a pair of ballet flats. They are trending big time right now which is ideal for all of my corporate girlies out there.
sweater || tights || shoes || purse || blazer
Now is the perfect time to wear all the sweater dresses. I love reaching for these when I want to look professional but don’t feel like wearing pants. Throw on tights and a pair of boots and you’re good to go. I’m about 5’2 for reference and wearing a size small here. Toss on a blazer if you want to dress this up even more!
top || sweater || pants || shoes
Another one of my favorite sweater vests. This one looks amazing on its own but works well for those chilly months with a basic long sleeve layered underneath. Comes in several different colors and you just can’t beat that $12 price tag!
top || blazer || belt || jeans || shoes
When in doubt I reach for this $12 turtleneck. It’s one of my most reached-for basics not only for layering purposes but as a stand-alone piece too! Throw on a blazer and tuck this into jeans for a casual yet never-fail outfit idea.
Two piece sets are a great last-minute outfit idea. This one is a cozy sweater knit that will keep you so warm. Keep things casual with a pair of sneakers or dress it up with a close-toed kitten heel. You can easily mix and match these pieces too giving you three looks for the price of one.
top || skirt || tights || jacket || shoes
A basic mini skirt that has shorts built in?! I think yes… especially in a business casual setting. I love dressing up with tight and a heeled bootie for a special occasion day. Whether you’re giving a presentation, meeting with someone important, or just want a little confidence booster this is a killer combo! Especially with that plaid jacket thrown over the top.
