Want to spice up your business casual closet? Grab a bright pair of trousers to mix and match with your favorite basic tops! This blue is one of Abercrombie’s core colors this spring and I’m obsessed. A tailored fit yet so comfortable you won’t even realize you’re wearing dress pants.
Or vice versa with a pair of black trouser pants and a bright bodysuit. These tee-shirt bodysuits are the best staple basics. They seamlessly tuck into trouser pants with their thong, snap crotch bottom. I wear them into the office, on coffee runs, on date nights, etc… they seriously go with everything.
When I polled you on Instagram, 80% of you said you can wear jeans to the office. This American Eagle pair is my favorite for the office. They’ve got a tapered, straight-leg fit that looks a little less frumpy than your favorite “going out” jeans.
As we step into spring, don’t be afraid to try a short-sleeved sweater. This one comes in a few different colors and is full-length, also known as office-approved. To instantly dress up your look, add a pair of pointed-toe kitten heels. These make every outfit look polished & professional and are under $30!
Whenever I’m in a pinch I go for a monochrome outfit. Black on black is a never-fail. Tie a sweater around your shoulders and toss on a pair of colorful heels to coordinate. Such a power move that scores me compliments every time I wear it!
This black tuckable tee is the best business casual basic. Easy to dress up and down and can be styled all four seasons. This wool blend cardigan is the perfect layer for the spring. If you feel a little too casual in jeans, try throwing on a pointed-toe heel to give things a more sophisticated feel.
Investing in a good black tee and trousers will seriously change your life. Whether you’re styling them separately or going for a classic monochrome look, you’ll get the cost per wear down to pennies!
The chicest, easiest way to elevate an outfit is by tying a sweater around the shoulders. Love these basic stripes!
Linen pants are a wardrobe staple for me in the spring. Abercrombie knocked it out of the park this year with these tailored ones! These feel like beach pants but look like trousers, giving you the best of both worlds. They come in a few different colors but I love a bright white for the spring.
If linen isn’t your thing, try these crepe pants. These are a polyester blend that’s a little thicker. I grabbed these in a short for more of an ankle fit!
Don’t be afraid to try monochrome with white. I’m wearing that same seamless bodysuit and tossing on the pops of pink for a spring-ready outfit. You’ll look like the trendiest girl in the office with this outfit on.
Dressing for the fall seems so much easier because you can just throw on a different sweater and jeans every day. Thankfully short-sleeved sweaters are coming back in style, making my go-to outfit possible even as temperatures warm up. Adding mules and a few black accessories to dress this outfit up for work.
Had to grab one more of these bodysuits because they are just that good. Just trust me and order one…. or three!
