Planning a visit to Mexico soon? I just wrapped up a short and sweet three-night stay in Puerto Vallarta full of colorful swimsuits and pretty dresses. I got tons of questions on these pieces over on Instagram so I’m rounding up + linking all six outfit ideas for you today.
I spent this trip at an all-inclusive resort which I personally love because it’s an excuse to get “all dressed up with nowhere to go”. For reference, I visited in early June and temperatures in Puerto Vallarta were in the low eighties. It was hot but not as humid as other months/parts of Mexico I’ve visited so I was actually able to wear my hair down and sport some longer styles without sweating my tushy off!
I’ve worn a lot of dresses over the years and this is without a doubt my favorite that I’ve ever worn. A beachfront dinner at your all-inclusive resort is the perfect excuse to get dressed up and this show-stopping number will have people turning heads. From the plunging neckline to the slit that extends all the way to your waistline this dress is sexy all over.
The movement of this full skirt as you walk is just incredible. Go for a lace-up heel to elongate the legs even more!

It’s spritz-o’clock in this cute Dippin Daisy’s bikini. Their new Italian Market collection just launched and I’m a sucker for all of the Aperol Spritz patterns! This underwire top is one of my favorites + these bottoms are a great full coverage, family-friendly option.
During the summer time in Mexico, the UV climbs to 13 so I highly suggest packing a hat to keep the sun off your face!

Feeling like aquamarine in this stunning maxi dress. This strapless style would be perfect for a destination wedding this summer! It runs super long so I’ve got a chunky pair of platforms styled with. And of course, no outfit of mine is complete without a cute clutch. Lulus has some of my favorites!

Kulani Kinis is another one of my favorite bikini brands. They are Australian owned so their styles tend to run much skimpier but boy are they flattering. This string style + thong bottom is my favorite from them. They just launched the cutest tropical prints in time for summer! Perfect for a day of tanning at the pool.

You can’t go wrong with a mini dress after a full day in the sun. Obviously, you can stay super casual at an all-inclusive resort since you’re just walking a few steps to get to dinner but that’s exactly the reason why I like to wear heels! No need to worry about your feet hurting + you can snap some awesome pictures.
I added fun pops of green to pull out the flowers of this dress.

Matching with Sam in the cutest gingham bikinis. I love an underwire style for a little more support, especially if I’m planning on doing any water activities/excursions. I’ve been super into accessorizing bikinis lately hence the hair scarf, sunnies, and fun jewelry!
