There’s nothing better than playing tourist in Music City. If you’re looking for Nashville outfit ideas you’ve come to the right place! Whether you’re spending a night out on Broadway, exploring the city’s vibrant neighborhoods, or attending a live show I’ve got an outfit for every occasion.
As promised I’m sharing all seven outfits I wore on my latest trip to Nashville along with links to shop and directions to each photo location. Nashville has dozens of funky murals scattered throughout the city that make for super cute photo ops you won’t want to miss!
For reference, I visited Nashville in June and temperatures were hot and humid, reaching the mid-nineties. You’ll want to pack a few extra outfits so you can change when you get all sweaty!
There’s truly no easier outfit for Nashville than an all-denim look. This True Religion romper was the perfect, easy piece to slip into for a day exploring town. Add a bright red pair of boots for a fun pop of color and don’t forget your cowboy hat— locals will tell you to leave it at home but tourists everywhere will have them on and it’s fun to play the part!

If all denim isn’t your thing, try going for a denim top instead! This cropped style is perfect for those hot summer afternoons in the city. It’s definitely on the shorter side so a high-waisted skirt helped balance the outfit perfectly.
These tan boots are a few years old from Dolce Vita but are still some of my favorites. Although they are sold out, I linked this year’s version (in stock) for you! A taller pair will help elongate the legs, especially if you’re on the shorter side like I am.

Go “girl next door” in a simple white tee and low-rise cut-offs. I swear I got hit on more in this outfit than in my sexiest attire lol. Of course, don’t sleep on the red boots— they were such a fun pop to my outfits this time around.

When in doubt I go for a mini dress—the easiest thing to slip into when you’re hungover and need to get ready for another day of drinking on Broadway with the girls, lol. This American Eagle dress was my number-one seller on LTK for five weeks straight. Incredibly flattering and the zipper works so you can make this as plunging as you desire!

Who doesn’t love a denim mini-skirt?! I’m so glad this 2000s-style staple is making a comeback because they are truly the perfect piece for a trip to Nashville. Toss on a basic tank and a cheeky trucker hat and you’re good to go— this one says “not flirting just hot and talking” and always scores me tons of compliments!

I sized up in this adorable denim overshirt thinking I could wear it as a dress but it ended up being a little too short so I put on a pair of white linen shorts underneath and belted it! This belt was under $3— don’t sleep on SheIn accessories.
Popped on white knee-high boots to elongate the legs and layered on a few turquoise accessories to tie the look together. Perfect fit for dinner and rooftop cocktails!

If you’re planning a trip to Music City, chances are you’re headed out with the girls for a big group meal! This yellow mini dress was perfect for our dinner at Hampton Social— there are tons of colorful photo ops here so something bright is perfect.
It’s super touristy here so you won’t feel out of place if you choose to wear boots and a cowboy hat.
