Not sure what to wear on your trip to Jamaica this summer? You’ve come to the right place! I just wrapped up a week-long trip in paradise and wore all kinds of colorful kinis and cute vacation dresses. As always I’m sharing a recap of everything I wore complete with links to shop so you can recreate these looks on your next trip!
For reference, I visited Jamaica in late August and temperatures were hot and humid. Jamaica has a subtropical climate which means it’s warm year round— expect temperatures in the eighties and a few showers in the late afternoons/evenings as August is their rainy season.
What’s an easier outfit than a mini dress and heels? Always my go-to when packing for a tropical vacation that way I can spend more time in the sun and less time putting an outfit together! This one from Sabo Skirt is the cutest.

When packing for Jamaica you must bring a handful of swimsuits. Most all-inclusive resorts require you to have some type of cover-up when eating at a restaurant/buffet. I highly suggest grabbing something crochet so that you have a breathable option that’s still beachy!

Kulani Kinis is one of my favorite brands to shop for when it comes to swimwear. This triangle-style top is my favorite of their styles. Of course, I always have to spice up my beach day looks with a few accessories. Bucket hats are the best for keeping the sun off of your face.

Jamaica is one of those destinations that has tons of excursions available. If you plan on doing any of them (ATVing, horseback riding, ziplining, etc) you’ll need to pack an activewear outfit or two. These Glowmode longline sports bras are my absolute favorite. Don’t forget a pair of sneakers— closed-toe shoes are mandatory for these activities.

Feeling like aquamarine in this adorable two-piece set from Princess Polly. It’s crochet so one of those pieces you either have to wear a slip under or a swimsuit. I went for a white bikini and dressed it up with heels and accessories for a sexy resort-wear vibe. I’m obsessed. Use code MCKENZ20 for 20% off your purchase.

I’ve got over 500 bikinis in my collection and my all-time favorite ones come from Hollister. Crazy, I know, especially since they are under $30 apiece. Their triangle tops have wider cups that give you a little more coverage and a ton of lift! Bottoms are just the right amount of cheeky and oh-so-flattering.

A dress a day keeps the outfit stress away! Loving this Sabo Skirt maxi moment. I styled this with a little straw bag and a floral hair clip to spice it up a bit!

This $10 bikini looks like a designer item from Revolve! Such a chic suit for a day of sunbathing at our resort. This white skirt is also under $10 and comes on every vacation with me— it’s the perfect piece to throw on as a cover-up.

The only thing better than a sexy vacation outfit is a sexy vacation outfit that’s under $15. Can you believe the price of this dress?! This mermaid moment scored me all kinds of compliments, hugging my figure beautifully while giving the girls a little lift. It’s on the sheer side so plan for a slip or nude underwear & a sticky bra!

I’ve been saving this green bikini for months now… I knew it would be the perfect suit to style while in Jamaica. Tank is from Hollister— they’ve got tons of graphics for all your favorite destinations.

The only thing easier to style than a dress on vacation is a two-piece set. They are arguably just as good. I wore this crochet set in Portugal for a sunset cruise so it only seemed right to pull it back out for a sunset cruise in Jamaica! If you’re planning a night out on the water I suggest going for a maxi to avoid a windy Marilyn Monroe moment.

Another day another bikini while lounging on the beach. This spritz suit was one of Dippin Daisy’s best sellers this year. Use code MCK15 for 15% off your purchase!

I’ve brought this dress on a few trips now because it’s just that good. A tapered maxi moment is the best for a windy night by the water because everything stays in place! These chunky platforms have been coming with me on tropical vacations for years now— under $50 and so comfortable!

Bring on all the topical printed bikinis. This underwire style from Kulani is one of my favorites. Super supportive and flattering all at once. This Lirio & Co is the best little beach tote— I bring it on all my vacations since it has a zipper. Handmade in Peru but available to shop online!

Make sure you have a swimming-approved bikini on hand if you plan on doing a snorkeling excursion. You know, something without a bunch of ties, straps, and clasps that can come unhooked. My favorite suits for this type of occasion are from Honey Swim. Not only is their quality amazing but they were founded by one of my sweet friends who I adore!
