Planning your trip to the Amalfi Coast and not sure what to wear? Known for its beautiful coastal downs, turquoise waters, and Mediterranean charm, the Amalfi Coast is a magical destination like no other.
With dozens of cliffside boutiques and businesses and hundreds of stairs, a comfortable yet stylish outfit is a must when visiting this dream destination.
In this outfit guide, I’m sharing ten Italian outfits with links to shop and directions to each photo location so you can snap an Insta-worthy shot while you’re vacationing! Be sure to share this with any friends who might be coming with you so you can coordinate your dream wardrobe!
For reference, I visited the Amalfi Coast in mid-October and the weather was perfect. Temperatures were in the low seventies so it was warm enough to wear a dress and dip into the water, but cool enough that the no airconditioning lifestyle wasn’t an inconvenience!
If I could give you one tip for packing for Italy it’s to pack all the linens. You’ll be outside walking all day long so something breathable is an absolute must! I prefer wearing dresses when I’m traveling around Europe. It saves time picking an outfit in the morning, and it keeps me coolest. Plus, you look adorable too!

The Amalfi Coast is home to the lemon! You’ll see lemon souvenirs and lemon-flavored treats on every corner. When I saw this set I knew I had to have it. I had so many strangers stop me on the street to compliment this set.
It’s the perfect lightweight number for exploring and also makes a great beach coverup if you’re planning on heading to the water at some point during your day. This straw bag comes on almost every trip with me— it fits so much and looks adorable too!

Can’t take a trip to Positano without hopping in the water This yellow suit from Dippin Daisys is one of my all-time favs. Love love love, especially with all of my turquoise jewels.

A day in Capri called for one of my favorite yellow dresses. This maxi moment was perfect for our day exploring Capri. It was super humid here (and rather windy!) so I wore a hat all day to mask my bad hair day.
This straw hat is from Sunshine Tienda and comes on every trip with me. It instantly makes an outfit cuter. Plus, I had to pull out my brand-new bag that I bought from CB Positano! They sell online too so if you can’t make it to Italy you can purchase it here.

This dress is a show-stopper! The ideal piece for a fancy dinner and drinks out. Comes in a few colors and is so good.

More lemons because I just couldn’t resist. Loved this casual number for a day exploring Positnao. The pants are doublelined making them not see-through and a little thicker. It was brisker in the mornings so I appreciated the extra weight of these in October!

I’ve had these fruity pants for months and break them out every chance I can get. Sadly they are sold out but they are from the cutest online boutique, Hello Moon.
A lightweight tie-front long sleeve paired with these bottoms was perfect for a crisp October day. It was never cold enough for a sweater but I appreciated having a little extra length some days!

Every time I wear this set I get a gazillion compliments… and a gazillion more when I tell people it’s under $15. Seriously one of my favorite vacation looks. It’s subtly sexy and looks amazing on so many different shapes and sizes.
Pack a pair of nude briefs to wear under the skirt and a sticky bra to go with the top as the fabric is on the sheer side/is more like a cover-up! I dressed it up for a night out with baby block heels and an updo!

I don’t go anywhere without a little white dress. This bubble number is under $20. Paired with a scarf and some sunnies this look came right off my Pinterest board.
I wore this for our vintage car ride around the coast and while I looked adorable, if I were to book the excursion again I’d wear a maxi dress so that I had something longer/flowier for photos.
