Guide to the Netherlands

Often referred to as Holland, the Netherlands is a captivating European country known for its picturesque tulip fields, a large community of cyclists, and rich cultural heritage.

The Netherlands has flat landscapes intersected by many canals and rivers. Most tourists come to explore its capital city, Amsterdam. Did you know that Amsterdam has over 160 dispensaries? Cannabis is widely used here, making it a popular destination for hippies!

A vibrant hub of art, history, and innovation many people consider Amsterdam their favorite European city. Pay a visit to the world-class Van Gogh Museum. Cruise through the canals on a river-tour. Visit the Anne Frank Museum for a peek into the original home.

Culturally, the Netherlands is a melting pot of traditions, languages, and customs. Dutch cuisine is a mix of mashed potatoes and veggies, haring, and stroop waffles— also known as syrup waffles!
