Guide to North Carolina

Growing up I’ve always said I’d like to settle down in the Carolinas. Some of my fondest childhood memories were spent here and the older I get the more I’m reminded of all these states have to offer. Beach, lakes, mountains, and gorgeous countryside… North Carolina has a little bit of everything. And while they do get all four seasons, their winter is short and mild making it pleasant all year round.

It’s most enjoyable to visit the beach towns in August when the water is at its warmest and tourism has died down a bit. If you’re taking a trip to Asheville or want to explore the mountains, I suggest waiting until the fall. This area experiences some of peak foliage with the leaves beginning their explosion of color in late September.

It’s one of those states I keep coming back to… always a new area waiting to be explored!
